No doubt, if you like reggae plan a night out at The wild hare, they always got something going on there.
Ishkabibbles steak be based off of hype, not a lot of people know what a good cheese steak is especially people who don't eat it often.
But a real deal Philly dude like myself and others would give you cheese steak spots that the media don't even talk about and those joints are way better than the ones the media always like to talk about the most. Also, I'm very picky when it comes to cheese steaks and I will not be going to places that have trash steaks just because of the hype surrounding it. Also, be careful taking advice form those tiktoks because people love to do shit for attention not knowing what they be talking about.

Yeah man wifey, uncle, aunt, and whole rack of cousins that still live in Philly...I think my Uncle lives in North Philly...There kids are still in the area and then my other cousins moved out to Smyrna, Delaware....One of my cousins has a hair salon in Philly...
I got fam in DC and my cousin got killed in DC over some bullshit but they also killed the dude who killed him so justice was served on the street. I just wished the person never got caught.

I usually hit up Leo's when in Philly but I will definitely try this spot out.

It's up north in Lincoln Park on halsted. It's been there forever, since I was a kid.
it wasnt too far from where i was staying. i was with my ex visiting her family in Chester.
but it was on Philadelphia Pike right when u cross the border into Delaware.
There were a bunch of cheesteak and gyro type spots there. Close to a HS. Not sure what the name of it was tho.

Ishkabibbles is more for Chicken Cheesesteaks and Cheese Fries. But if you're in town for business or something and staying downtown, it's one of the better options since it's close. But Jim's is open again so I'd probably send folks there now.
