Here is a more elegant way to interpret this statement from Eddie Griffin, it is when a historically white company tries to produce an all black lineup of shows on TV targeting us as a major network. They will hire people that they approve of behind-the-scenes to produces this programming and feature in the shows.

This is in contrast to something like BET that is or was black owned and logically made sense for them to do that.
