As I've said before, porn performers should always assume that their past lives will come back to haunt them. This is why the majority of them don't have social media accounts. Those that continue to have a presence online always run the risk of being exposed. They're public figures, whether they like it, or not.

The "cape" argument is old and doesn't apply here because I'm not trying to save these women.

You dudes want to be pimps in your own minds, declaring these women "public figures" and figuring that gives you the right to stalk and potentially harass them.

You might get a few laughs and then you log into BGOL and find the site gone because it went too far.

TLDR: The wellbeing of BGOL is more important than a long retired pornstar's real name and personal life.

I think there is a line, but I dont think real name is crossing it. This thread pretty much has run dry with almost every chick that could be found and nothing has happened if I believe (could be wrong). these women seem to be ok. But I hear you. It can be taken too far and I think none of us want to see that.

I understand where you are coming from: I think you're saying that there should be boundaries in the appreciation of the porn performers. We can enjoy their work, but let's not ruin their current lives after their porn lives have ended. This isn't like 2003 when we couldn't find these porn performers after they retired, however now it's possible. & with the great new powers of searching of the internet, there comes an even greater responsibility to leave those who once performed in the porn industry alone so they can move forward in their post-porn lives.

I think that makes sense.

There are some that are completely off the grid and you have to do some Batman shit to find them and then there's others that have a social media presence but it's obvious they are not in the adult entertainment business anymore.

I appreciate how you approach this situation being reasonable to all the members in here.
The Duece guy began his first thread with insults calling everyone here CREEPY then we are stalkers & harassing Ex pornstar, those are serious accusations whatever ideas he wanted to present is falling on death ears it’s poor communication skills. Far as Charlie Angel, one idiot went too far then so be it she’s not removed from the consequences of her past choices take the good with the bad be happy you don’t have a Felony are you wouldn’t be doing surgery on anyone.

Good suggestions, also we should get HNIC and some of the mods & vets to weigh on this, also. This is when we need a BGOL community meeting to iron-out some of the collective issues we have. I appreciate your input; I really like blocking out the faces of their family members & the no physical addresses part. I think we're making some progress, just by discussing it. Hopefully, others will add their opinions.
