Mens basketball is one of the most popular Olympic sports. The only sports that get more views are the obvious ones like soccer, swimming, gymnastics, and track and field.

Yes justification matters. We Americans are selfish and we like winners, Clark's whiteness can only save her for so long, if she isn't performing as expected her fan base will dwindle very fast. To make the Olympic team you have to actually practice amongst a pool of players chosen by Team USA and be chosen for the squad. Clark did not do that, thus she was never in the running to make the team.

But I would need to see how those women all did in their first 2 months in the WNBA before I can say that. I want to know if those #1 draft picks played BETTER than Caitlin is playing now.
