Caitlin Clark Is The Truth

Chinae and Andraya talking about the USA women's team chose experience, chemistry and all those other things, now watch one of those players not be able to participate and Caitlin Clark get added to the team

I almost turned the video off when Stephen A. decided he wanted to take up all the time talking, man shut the hell up

I don't always agree with them, but Sharpe, SAS, and Herd are pretty much spot on with this take. You strike the iron while it's hot. People too caught up on other BS. Instead of taking advantage of all the hype around her. Again..the NBA can get away with doing something like this. BUT the WNBA has been the dumps for years. They need as much exposure as possible.

I think the Central Park 5 fooled the DNA tests somehow to get out, I think they are guilty of this heinous crime based on the behavior I have noted on here, the blood thirst for white women.

It's not always the "best" players that make the team. And her notion that there is too much at stake is comical. The women have won 7 straight medals. CC being on the team wasn't gonna change that one way or the other. You have two different groups when it comes to supporting her being on the team.

Her super fans that think she should be on the squad based on talent. And feel she is being wronged some way by not being selected. Then there are the ones who see it as a way to help grow the league. And the powers that be fumbling the bag.

If I had to chose one WNBA player(or maybe any U.S. female athlete) to invest money in right now. I'd take CC and give the rest of you the field. Money talks and I wouldn't be concerned about her fans trolling, being white or if she deserving of all the hype. She has it and thats all that matters now. There's a reason Nike gave her that shoe deal. I love A'Ja and respect Stewart and Ionesco game. But they not about to move numbers like CC with merchandise sales.

I just wanted to see clark play with top tier talent to see what it looks like

Good point. Not sure how it would all play out on the court. But definitely a missed opportunity. I don't worry about her game as much as some people. I think she will be fine after the offseason to adjust. But I feel that way about most of the rookies this year.

Laettner averaged 7 mins and 1 shot a game. You think the CC fans would be content with that?

So what if she’s on the team but doesn’t play?

Then it’s “strike while the iron is hot let het play the most minutes”

And what if she’s only getting a few shots?

“Strike while the iron is hot, let her shoot”

And what if the other countries’ teams are playing hard against her?

“Strike while the iron is hot. Talk them into worshipping her”

Oh and when she comes on court can you all bow your heads and bend the knee?

It's clear taurasi doesn't like clark

How would clark get that international experience and veteran tutelage if the current crop of vets freezes her out and takes shots at her

OK...Here's where she has crossed the line with me.

What makes her rookie ass think she deserves to be on the Olympic squad?!!

She just lost a lot of people with that spoiled brat ass attitude.
What did she say that made you make this statement?

All I heard her say was that she was happy for the other girls and that she wish she was selected but it gives her something to work towards.

The part where she stated to her coach about "woke up the monster" because she was not selected.

That part wasn't in that clip though. Just used that post to make my statement.

That just comes off as super entitled.
That’s what you want your star player to say. To me that shows she has a great mindset

If it was the best of the best the Arike would have definitely been on the team. I felt she should have been on the team because she's what's hot in women's basketball right now plus she just broke all those records in her final college season which is the reason she was even invited to the camp. I don't get the people talking about she wouldn't get much playing time because she's supposedly not as good, right now in her rookie season teams are saying the only way to stop her is full court pressure, doubles and ball denial so they're admitting they feel she is talented enough to be on that team. Right now she's one of two alternates for the USA team so more than likely someone isn't going to be able to participate and she will be called up to play

Why wouldn't they play her though, the women haven't had any problems winning so she'd get playing time. If she plays she would be running the point so the ball would be in her hands, she's an amazing passer so if teams tried to play her like the WNBA players do she'd rack up on assists like she did at Iowa

You just proved my point.

After winning THREE national championships. Quite a difference in the resume, flex on em DT

Stewart won FOUR chips and somehow Clarke is in the conversation as best collegiate player on the women's side.

Stop it.

They can cross that bridge when they get to it. At least people will be paying attention..

And this isn't about worship. You letting your personal opinion of her cloud your judgement, on what makes business sense. You think companies doing business with her are worried about her perceived worship? Hell no they digging into the hype. Was Connor McGregor qualified to be in the ring with Floyd Mayweather? It's about getting people to watch and spend money. In this case merchandise/ad sales and helping to push the sport. Which the entire league will benefit.

The Olympics is a business, not putting Clark on the team is just dumb.

The people that will only watch if Clark is there don't give a single fuck about the WNBA, will never give a fuck about the WNBA and will not watch any game Clark isn't in. And the moment she's no longer in the league, they will stop watching.

Clark DOES NOT GROW THE LEAGUE.

It's a cult.

One program has a system, the other player was the system.

I agree with her placement on the team as the 13th women for business. I feel that Arike has the biggest gripe though and should be the first injury replacement option over Clarke. USA basketball has been fucking over Nigerian American basketball players lately. Arike has put in the time and earned a spot. I doubt she will get picked in 2028 after what will be her 11th year in the WNBA.

Can I say that I don't like Sharpe on First Take at all. He just seems to scream and cosign Stephen A far too often.

You know what would get a lot of eyeballs and make money for a league?

The Dallas Cowboys winning a Super Bowl.

So I expect all these niggas worried about marketing and "eyes on the sport" and all that shit to now be for the league fixing it to make sure the Cowboys win the next three Super Bowls to get more eyeballs and to grow the sport.
