How many in here actually support Black businesses??

100%. Not just with goods and products...

My dentist is black

My primary care doctor is black

My eye doctor is black...

Looking to sharpen my golf skills and haven't been able to find a black golf instructor...

Got my gun license via a black gun instructor

Oh shit I forgot to mention......my dentist is Black as well.

I'm taking private DJ lessons from a Black instructor.

Favorite bowling alley is Black owned

Get most of my stage clothes from a Black owned store

Learned intermittent fasting from a Black fitness coach

When a large DJ client needs a photobooth my partner and I hire a Black provider

Favorite restaurant was Black owned (RIP Souly Vegan)

So was my favorite bookstore (RIP Alexander books)

This would be a lot easier if the economy wasn't in a slump right now

Which Bowling Alley and who is the fitness coach?

My kids’ Pediatrician and Dentist are Black. For my Rentals, my Handyman and Plumber are Black. My Accountant is Black. Our main gift dessert is a Cheesecake from a Black Owned Bakery.
That’s one thing I’ve been looking for is a black accountant.

My homeboy who is a CPA was doing my taxes for years but since I’m with wifey now we haven’t been able to find one.

There are a couple threads like this, here is one:

Here’s mine

No that white person told you something you should’ve learned from the beginning to dig in white people pockets.. you can always overcharge white people cause they are the most gullible consumers around.. this is biz 101.. majority of biz in america is aimed at white people and live and die off the white customers back. dont listen to that bullshit lie about black people being the biggest consumer in america, it’s always been white people. It’s more of them here in america and they have bigger pockets . NYC is one of the perfect examples that shows this dynamic. Just look at manhattan. Below 86 st is the biggest concentration of cacs in the borough, above it is the biggest concentration of other ethnic groups. Just look at the difference between rent below 86 st to above 86 st.. look at the price of food, entertainment, etc below 86 st compared to above.. I remember back in the 90s a fucking mint ball was 5 cents above 86 st below it that shit was a quarter.. 5 times the amount for the same product below 86 compare to above.. digging in white people pockets big bizz been doing it , small bizz been doing it, and lot of others need to learn this thing.. as we use to say why sell a bag of weed for 20 uptown when you can dig in white people pocket and sell it for 30-50 downtown

Nah bra that wasn't my point. It is not about digging in anyone's pockets based on skin color or neighborhood it's about pricing your value. I was a business consultant for startups so beyond my own experience in the game I saw it first hand again and again. Black business were concerned about giving excellent value for their price. When in the minds of many price determines value. This comes from our perspective in America. We undervalue ourselves and it causes us to think that we need to overperform and undercharge. I think all black brands should move into the premium luxury space. That's what black people like and that's the quality we aspire for so we should charge luxury prices from the door. To black people to white people in black neighboorhoods in white neighboorhoods luxury brands cost.

would you charge an old black person who funds were low $200+ dollars to move a old couch out their house that you and friend could easily do it in 5 mins? Now would you charge an old white rich person $200+ to do the samething?.. reason I ask this is cause literally this is some of the things 1 of my boys does for old white well to do cacs. Lil task around the house that lazy well to do white people will pay overprice for.. he wouldn’t charge black people the same price cause he knows the price high and he knows white people are gullible enough to pay it

I make it a point to spend with Black Owned Businesses. Shit when I was on vacation a month ago, I hit up multiple black spots in Buffalo and Cleveland. There are a few in my area that I hit up.

Hell yea. On a side note as an entrepreneur Business Ownership is the secret sauce.

As a group we spend the most money in this economy. Once we get on code and start really fucking with each other, its over for these Crackas

I support Black businesses as much as possible. My physician and dentist are both Black. My dry cleaner is Black Owned and I buy soaps from a woman who owns her Black Owned line of cosmetics. I also patronize Everett and Jones Barbecue (A black-owned restaurant out here in Oakland). I don't eat much meat anymore but I buy their sauce and drizzle it on my grilled veggies.
