Kendrick Lamar disses Drake & J Cole on Metro Boomin & Futures Album/ Rick Ross Responds/ Kanye Responds/Kendrick Responds 4X / Drake Responds 3X

First Person Shooter = 10Like That = 10
Push Ups = 9Euphoria = 10
Taylor Made = 76:16 In LA = 9
Family Matters = 10Meet The Grahams = 8
The Heart Pt. 6 = 8Not Like Us = 9

Drake: 44
Kendrick: 46

IMO Family Matters was the best song of the battle....would have said like that but that was a colab

Taylor made was like Drake running wide open to the end zone and spiking the ball on the one yard line....smh

YO!!!! WTF??? Not a rating scale!!! I LOVE IT!!!!!!!

Again, none of them are relevant besides Kanye

Do you think someone 25 would know one Wu song? Name two members?

You don't seem to get that old people don't dictate hip hop, young people do. Drake has been fighting it for years trying to change his hair, painting his nails, working with young artist.

Snoop is Snoop at this point, but nobody checks for his music. He's in a commercial every hour, but look at his views on YouTube. Same with Fab and his freestyles.

You keep saying you would listen, but nobody under 35-40 would listen. That's not any different than Game. Just say you don't like Game instead of talking the relevancy talk. Hell, some of those artist you mentioned don't even have a multiplatinum album like Game.
You are out of touch. If you ain’t been to a concert by any of these guys you can’t really speak on what’s relevant. I still go to concerts and shows. Gen Z all in that shit. It’s always been that way. Man I don’t like Game and I said why and relevance had nothing to do with it. You the one brought up this shit this the same shit you did about Danny Green. You tried to convince me Danny Green sorry ass was a good player and his sorry ass want. Game the Danny Green of hip hop….

How much you make playing basketball and how long was your NBA career?

What do you mean by career though? Album sales wise? Probably…..

Unless the comparison is purely about lyricism, you have to include album sales. Judging by your list, I figure you to be around your 40’s. Meth,Push and Jada,’s music isn’t really appreciated outside of our age group. Our difference of opinion might be based on geography too. I’m in California. I can come up with 30 dope Game songs way easier than 30 dope Pusha T songs.

Bro I had to come to accept something a long time ago and again this morning taking kids to school

No drizzy

And something these arrested development fan boys refuse to accept

We old.

We are not the target audience these corporations don't target us these artists don't either.

So all these rules?

That was for us

And honestly we were goalposts moving muthafukas too.

Drake the brand was NEVER for us.

and that's okay

Aubrey Graham wants our respect apparently.

And we were never gonna give it to him no matter what he did.
I agree with you….i know how these companies work they go after the young demo and it effect our pockets because we the one footing the bill. I get the game…..

But nobody can sit here and tell me Pusha T ain’t musically relevant lol.

I hate to break it to you

You're old
That part you right about. But what you wrong in is thinking Rick Ross or Pusha T ain’t relevant. You’re sidestepping the conversation because you know you wrong. I’m younger than Kendrick but you trying to tell me he ain’t relevant because he old?

Record labels hate Pusha and Killer Mike and can’t make money off them because they old….oh wait…they do lol.

Pusha is, most of the other rappers that you mentioned aren’t.

I’m about to be 35 at the end of June….Meth is relevant not strictly for music but if he drops people gonna listen. His is more so for his acting. Pusha just dropped an album and did 50k first week.
Jada is more relevant now than ever. It won’t show up in album sales because the game is different now with streaming.

As far as Game goes it could be geography though I’m from Dallas and Dallas and Cali been connected before I was even born. As a kid I grew up on Cali shit they might as well have been from Dallas. But Game never made that shit. I liked him early on but as a rapper he was heavily flawed and an artist his music was full of name drops and no substance snd it killed it for me. I’m biased for sure I’m not a fan and think he corny.

Who wasn’t? You can’t be talking about Ross or Snop or Jada or Nas so I’m guessing you’re talking about Fabolous? He still drops music and consistently….i feel his impact. Though ok maybe he’s a stretch for non fans….the rest of that list ain’t debatable lol.

I don’t like Game either, but I can appreciate his music. Game has been musically relevant for multiple decades. I didn’t even know Pusha T just dropped an album. I can’t name the last good song I heard from Method Man or Jada. It’s probably been 15+ years ago.

So you were riding around playing :hmm:

Ross dropped an album with Meek and no one cared.

Most aren't waiting for a Snoop, Jada or Fabolus album.

Just like they aren't waiting for a Nelly, Chingy, Ludacris or U-God album. :roflmao:

Just because you would like to hear it doesn't mean that the general public's looking forward to it.

Now every rapper has their fans, we're talking about rappers that move the needle on a bigger level than just their fanbases.

Jeru the Damaja still big in Norway :lol:but isn't really musically relevant right now.

Alright that’s fair but what’s the last song you heard from Game?

So I said Meth is not as musically relevant but more so for acting…and you posted a video…..now I don’t click play….but something tells me you posted a rap song and not a acting reel lol.

Mef featured on Conway's joint a couple of years ago and it did numbers.

It brought some buzz back to Mef.

I don’t gauge relevance based on what the general public want to hear. General public wants to hear Taylor Swift and Ice Spice. I’m talking about from within our culture. Album sales don’t dictate relevance. Jennifer Lopez, Usher and Justin Timberlake just flopped. That doesn’t make them not relevant.

Billboard ain’t never dictated what’s relevant in our culture.

Game dropped a double album less than 2 years ago.

I listened to half of it and never listened to the rest.
Shit was trash and I only listened because of the features lol….but I was asking him because he said he ain’t heard a song from Pusha in years but hear stuff from Game….just was wondering what record he heard because the last single I heard from Game might be with the Drake record.
