Kendrick Lamar disses Drake & J Cole on Metro Boomin & Futures Album/ Rick Ross Responds/ Kanye Responds/Kendrick Responds 4X / Drake Responds 3X

Wait wait wait wait

It's okay to have criminals in ya crew but there are ACCEPTABLE crimes?

So okay women beaters are okay? Thieves rapists murders extortion kidnapping shootings identity theft child abuse

please let me know which ones are okay for crew members on that side?

I ain't co signing none of that.

And because I have some of those type of individuals on my side in some way shape or form I ain't quick to throw stones.

For the sake of argument

Who else in the rap game would be considered a culture vulture....besides Drake

I can't see the culture vulture label for Drake unless it's based off of his rapping about shit he hasn't lived and creating a fake persona.

But if that's a culture vulture we'd have very few artists who wouldn't fit that criteria.

Ironically Rick Ross would be the biggest offender. The man worked for years as a correctional officer and popped using the name of a well known drug dealer and told his and others stories as if he'd lived them. And despite this real life CB4 shit being known he still won't turn off the persona and stop fronting.

kinda my point

.......and again I'm not on anyone's side here

but the culture vulture label is a slippery slope

I hate that so many people are now going to continue seriously accusing Drake of being a pedophile based off of a rap battle.

Pedophilia isn't something to play with IMO and its a little too far to put that on someone's name without any real proof.
I think the pedo shit is low, but we always exaggerate things. It's no different than a nigga glorifying his high school days... that 225 you used to struggle to bench a few times suddenly turns to you repping that shit out because you likely aren't around the people that know the real every moment of every day.

I think the Culture Vulture accusations come from the fact that he's not American....Even though his Father is Foundational Black American.

I remember a few years ago there was talk of Black British chick Ella Mai culturally appropriating because she made an R&B song called "Boo'd up"

Like the shit is so ridiculous I don't even know if real human beings are behind this shit....If it's just Bots infecting some peoples minds with some bullshit and the shit just affects one person and spreads over and over...

I think where it comes from is Drake bites everyone's style. I don't think anyone is saying he can't or shouldn't rap. But he literally jacks people's shit and profits from it. He's gone from Phonte to Wayne to Migos to XXXTentacion to DRAM to Future and now he's on his Smino vibe. He was called a culture vulture in London after biting their Grime style and trying to sign their artists to keep their songs for himself. I think there's some validity to it. Some people choose to be the wave, others choose to be surfers. Drake could create his own sound and be his own wave but he chooses to be the latter.

Cause drake was stealing their swag. Thats why he did those feat. He wasnt hhelping. Every time kendrick came out with an album it was kendrick

But drake ain't invented that.

They could have said NO.

But they USED HIM TO.

When the f**k the music industry wasn't about using everyone and everything

Lil Wayne said himself..

And we goin' be alright if we put Drake on every hook

so what's that?

And you know Kendrick had his first big look when Drake put K on his album right?

And put K on his first tour?

How bout this let's make it easy so we don't do this dishonest conversation

If you can't rap about what you did or what people in your crew did then it ain't acceptable how easy is that?

That gets us out of the fake mud REAL QUICK right?

Man you wilding right now

The nigga has stolen every style he has but not a culture vulture??

And I don't fuck with ross either for the same reasons

So now what lol

Not really
The culture stuff isn't who has a right to rap
It's who is leeching off the artists without their own style
We're trying to confuse shit and I don't like it

Someone who likes to rap is unique and wants to do it cannot be a vulture there is space for you

Someone who has repeatedly side saddled every up and coming artist they could and especially out of Atlanta and currently st Louis stealing swag is a vulture

Ain't no slope there's only 1 way to be a vulture

Then he came back the next day addressed it. Then folks saying the way he addressed it wasn’t correct. He literally in 1 of those damned if you do damned if you don't situations.
Unfortunately, this is true.

You remember Jim Rome? Remember that time David Stern asked him "do you still beat your wife?"

There is no right answer to that question. Say yes and you're an admitted wife beater. Say no and the follow up is "oh that's good, when did you stop?"

But you know who's to blame for being in this situation...? DRAKE.

Nobody told him to message that 14yr old girl.

Nobody told him to kiss on that girl and sexualize her body after she told him and thousands in attendance that she was 17yrs old.

Nobody told him to write under Billie Eilish's post about her birthday being a few days away "I've been waiting."

Nobody told him to befriend and keep in contact with Bella Harris, a friendship/relationship that started when she was 16 and he was over 30.

Nobody told him to have an intimate relationship with 19 year old Jorja Smith and then go as far as writing a song about her. In the lyrics for "Jaded," he says "you had potential, I could have shaped it. You went and caved in, we could have waited, I wasn't rushing, differences in ages, you're old enough but you're still a baby."

And that's not everything.

All of that shit starts and ends squarely on the doorstep of Aubrey Drake Graham.
