This is all on parenting. I could not imagine doing that because I know my parents would tear my ass up when I got home. Kids nowadays don't have that healthy fear of their parents because they don't have consequences. I see it with my kids friends. I always ask do they have parents or do they live on their own.
This why I can't be a teacher, I would kick his ass AND his parents ass

Let me tell ya'll something. You have to get kids early. Like when they can first start responding to you. When they do shit like tell you 'No' or take a swing at you with they're chubby little weak ass baby arm. You have to get in they ass when they do the wrong thing as a toddler. When they in them terrible 3 and 4's, you have to be more terrible. You can't let them win to shut them up.
Perfect example: My son used to have a bed time of 8:00 pm and we stuck to that shit no matter what. At some point, when he was like 6 or 7, he started wilin' out when we told him to go to bed. One time, he walked by me and eye balled me all the way to the stairs and jumped up and caught him before he got up stairs and grabbed him by the collar like a grown man. Instead of getting down so that he was on my level, I picked him up be the collar and put him against a wall so that we were looking eye to eye. I could see the fear in his eyes. I'd given him spankings before, but this just felt different. I told him if he ever did that shit again I was going to beat his ass. He gave that nod of recognition that it could go down right now if he didn't give the correct answer. I dropped him and he picked him self up off the ground and took his little ass to bed. He's 19 now and we've never had to have that conversation again. He's also 6'2" and 215. I'd have a difficult time trying to handle that cat today, but because of that work I put in early, we good. It allowed our relationship to move from full on parenting stage to the advisory stage. He's a good fella that just needed raising.
That's why I opted out of the teaching profession. That kid would be all broken up in a corner of the room while we wait for the authorities to arrive.
So now that teacher has lost ALL respect of that ENTIRE school! Anything they say is gonna comeback with"...slap you like <kids name>slapped you!!!!" Why is this piece of shyt even in school? Nobody has expelled this kid? Smoking vape in class is just a thing to do?

I hope some of ya'll are on joke time with the bs talking about the teacher shouldn't have taken it from him. These kids need to learn there are rules & they have to adhere to them.
When I was going back up to my old high school & mentoring a couple of classes, I had to talk to a few dudes who thought they were tough..lol The vast majority have never been in a real fight. A couple of them I knew their parents so I just told them to holla at their parents before they make a decision that could get them in the hospital & second I don't work for the school system so I'm not in fear of losing my job and third I'm going to hurt you if it comes to that.

Where is that place, because I bet he won't even be suspended. He will probably be put in a bullshit 45 minutes restorative justice class where they will teach him "how to deal with his emotions."

I agree 100%. You have to do it early and whenever they act up. I hate it when I see parents just letting their kids act a damn fool in public, then they use the excuse they're just a kid what do you want me to do. Teach them how to act in public. My kids knew how to act at a real early age, even on planes. They knew to act like they had some sense or it was on, all I had to do was give that look. All kids need is
that Healthy Fear and they will be ok.
I'm talking about parents. Both need to be active parents in their kids lives. I have seen 2 parent housholds and both parents not do any discipline. Me and my wife were both very active when it came to discipline and we were on the same page with it.
I wonder what that kid's grades are. I bet they are in the gutters. Expulsion should be considered since he doesn't to adhere to rules and regulations.

Saw this this morning on Facebook and was shocked. I missed the first slap and was gonna watch it again but then just shook my head in disgust and closed the app. Teacher just sat there and took it, making me think that wasn't the first time she had been slapped like that by somebody..smh
