They won't know unless you introduce them to the audience. You think the WWE audience knew who KAIRI Sane or Iyo Sky (both former Stardom women) were before they showed up there? Or even Asuka for thar matter. One of primarily reasons why AEW and STARDOM have a working relationship now is to get these women exposure on American TV. Why is that bad thing? WWE can bring in Stardom talent but AEW can't?
And either way no one will care. Jungle Jackoff is pretty much dead in the water right now.
WWE will at least have those Stardom girls start in NXT so they can gradually be introduced to an American audience.
AEW just throws them out there expecting everyone to know who they are already and people wonder why they get no reaction.
AZM at least showed some personality during her press conference and interactions with Mercedes last year, plus she's kind of cute.
I might tune it to this match too.

With nearly a week away from the ppv why is she wrestling at all? Protect the ppv match. Now her match with Willow could be in Jeopardy.
It's poor promotion on AEW's part. Those same wrestlers come from the same crop as Asuka, Iyo and Kairi. Yet when they made their WWE debuts the crowd was hyped because they were told about them for weeks and why they should be taken seriously. AEW just throws talent out there and expect the audience to go do their research.
I mean I get it though because AEW fans are suppose to be the knowledgeable fans not like casuals….so I get them expecting their audience to know who she was.
And this right here is why AEW will never grow their audience. They don't cater to casuals. All they (TK) cares about is his base. The inability and refusal to grow their promotion and cater to all audiences will be their downfall.
I'm going to enjoy this. Will be my first time seeing Okada wrestle live in person.

He's apart of a heel faction in New Japan called "House Of Torture" and since this ppv will be in Chicago (Punk's hometown) he's gonna get heat from ALL the CM Punk fans who took Punk's side in the "All In" incident.
