He'll probably make it. On paper a FMVP and 4 rings looks very impressive (there's a lot of context there of course). I wouldn't vote for him but I'll be surprised if he never gets in the HOF.

My guess is marketing. The NBA basically guarantees that you'll see a HOFer every year.
