I know draya shit snap

If Mikey had done that we would see that replay 50 million times in slow motion the next 30 years. Jalen does it, and we won't even remember it tomorrow. Shows you how much more talented the NBA is today relative to 40 years ago.

The stans’ worst case scenario was that LeBron James, a supposed rival, would outperform their hero’s legacy and he did.

The sad part is that shouldn’t have been a comparison anyway, two players not close to being on the same tier  :smh:

How do you hate on a guy in real time as he's playing and he still surpasses everybody easily and still is playing and still the face of the league at 40? :smh: Bron haters are natural liars and underachievers. Can't even hate on a nigga effectively. I would somewhat respect them if they could admit they were wrong all these years, but they'd rather just lie and pretend they never said the things they said.

Probably best. That school had TWO heart attacks under the current staff. Both lived, but fuck all that shit.

Endield is an asshole that sold out his Black staff in that bribery case a few years back

If another great player-- some 13 year old-- has amazing injury luck and surpasses all the LeBron longevity stats in 30 years, that diminishes LeBron?

Especially if neither of them at their peak were better than peak Kobe anyway?

LeBron dominated the snake, head to head team record and statistically as an individual player.

Then he came to his “rival’s” team and delivered on another championship. He has taken his teams to the NBA Finals in every phase of his career development as a player.

If a player comes along and surpasses that then I’m sure he will get all the praise he should get.

Watched the 4th quarter of the Warriors game. Yet another "clutch game," have had the most in the league all year and I'm sure they'll set the record.

Dominant performance from Draymond down the stretch. Does anyone even rival him as the best defensive "big man" of his size in NBA history?

He is easily worth that in the current NBA climate. He is the real deal but he still has some growing to do. If Dirk Nowitzki took them to 2 Finals with 1 win, he will do that, minimum.

You’re worth whatever the team will pay you. So yeah, we can say he’s “worth” it. Can’t wait till the day a player makes $100 mil a year and has never reached an NBA Finals.

I don’t mind players getting the bag but I just wish winning came with a bigger incentive than it does.

That type of thinking is why the in-season tournament was implemented. The incentive? Money. Critics claim the players don’t take the game as serious because they make too much money, yet the in-season tournament lived up to the hype with the prize being money? Can’t have it both ways.

As a fan and someone who grew playing the game, my wishful thinking is that the incentive would be love for the game. But we both know a lot these ninjas don’t love the game like that. But I mean are they gonna keep maximizing these contracts and giving them for NOT winning anything substantial first? My thinking is, just like he earned this contract by playing 65+games(something he’s supposed to do if healthy), they should have triggers in there that involve, making the Conference Finals, NBA Finals, winning the Finals etc to unlock all the money.

BUT I get it. NBA is entertainment first. And he entertains the casuals for sure. He drops 70 points, 60 points. He won’t make it past the second round but he’ll sure be fun to watch up until then.

See you Thursday!
I thought Embiid was coming back Sun in Toronto. I called Joel out before or being a smoke dodger and it didn't surprise me at all that he didn't play Sun on the road, but showed up late to game at home for his return.

We got 3 back to back road games including the Heat & Spurs. I wonder if Embiid will play all those games or will he duck Wimby?

I think it would be cool to have players get a certain percentage of revenue for negotiated pay and then tie ten percent of the basketball related revenue players get to the standings.

The share of the pie players get could stay the same, 90% of salaries would be based on individual merit, 10% is tied to team performance on a sliding scale with the best regular season team splitting the most and the worst team getting nothing or a nominal amount.

Great system IMO.

Well being he put 70 on Wimby I don't think he'll duck him. My guess is if Maxey doesn't play he'll play in those back to backs. He needs minutes to get his timing and wind back before the playoffs.

Soon as I seen you bigging up Dray, I knew #30 had a rough night. Steph is aging...
