Wow, this is huge. Rossy is the reason why Stardom is as popular as it is today in Japan. Phenomenal mind for women's wrestling. Ever since Bushiroad bought Stardom they've been constantly sticking their nose into creative which led to some questionable booking decisions last year. Rossy and Bushiroad have different visions on where they see the company going forward.

There's been rumors for awhile now that Rossy has been extremely frustrated with Bushiroad so it looks like they terminated his contract. My immediate thoughts is this is bad for Stardom. Rossy was well respected by many women in the company and this could lead to an exodus of many talents leaving the company when their contracts are up.

If Rossy goes to WWE you're essentially getting the best in the business in regard to booking women's wrestling. You would have to give him complete control of the women's division for it to work. What a wild 2024 thus far.

Rossy and Tony Khan had heat so with Rossy gone the AEW/Stardom working relationship talks can commence. We may end up getting that Mercedes/Mayu rematch at this year's Forbidden Door.

Yet your feedback exists on a porn board. To what end & to whom?

I highly doubt the WWE cares about some "5 star" match as long as people are watching & the media are covering it.

I'm sure WWE also cares about views beyond just the WrestleMania box office gate.
Bro, you make all great points. Don't waste your time going back and forth with dude. He's delusional.
He keeps hate-watching WWE and praying they change their whole presentation to some Stardom type shit.
Then he comes on a porn board thinking higher ups in WWE will actually listen to him and his ideas. LOL
Even if he's barking the same stuff on Twitter/X, WWE could care less.

WWE may have had a bad a week from a PR perspective, but TKO stock is actually UP over the past week.
So all the bad press and bitching from the past week about Cody/Rock/Roman from a vocal mob on Twitter/X has had no effect on business, which is all WWE cares about at the end of the day.

WWE had a shitty week from a PR standpoint with the whole Vince thing, but just last week we were talking about their Netflix deal and Rock getting on the board with TKO.

I'm not crazy about the Rock/Roman/Cody story, but have you seen a comparison of social media engagement between Rock and Cody, like the amount of followers they have on Twitter and Instagram? Here's a hint, Rock BLOWS away Cody in the followers and reach department.

Although I'm not excited with what happened last week, I understand.

TKO is winning even when they lose (Vince story.)

I'm not crazy about Rock vs. Roman taking the place of Cody vs. Roman either.
I was hoping they could have had the Rock vs. Roman match at Elimination Chamber and still have the Cody vs. Roman match at WM.
Or they could have had Rock as the special guest referee during the match.

And I think Cody vs. Roman was the plan until CM Punk got injured and Brock was written out of WWE moving forward.
WWE had to call an audible and pivot from their original plan and so they feel this is the best substitute for now.
Again, not crazy about it, but I get it from a business perspective.
Some fans will be upset now, but we're still 2 months away from WM and a lot can happen until then.
And I can guarantee a lot of these fans that are upset now will switch up and look forward to Rock vs. Roman when the time comes.

I still think there will be some stipulation where we still get Cody and Roman at WrestleMania....Roman probably does double duty, main events night one with Rock and then night two against Cody.

So WWE keeps winning even when they're losing? You cats will "defend" this company through their worse actions! Hogan goes on a racists rant about a black dude his daughter is dating. Uses the excuse that he had heard the word all his life, been called it, by other black people. But used a hard R when referring to the dude. WWE keeps bringing him back. The owner is more sleazy than his character on TV and THAT is saying something. The only reason that he didn't go that far or hasn't continued that character is due to rating and financial motivations. This blind loyalty of "WWE playing chess while everybody else is playing <insert childlike game>" is pretty fcuked up!

I get separating the art from the artist, but Jesus, the cheerleading is worse than the delusions of the other side that ya'll complain about!!!

Who's cheerleading? Can you not think critically?

I've only seen cats approach this with an understanding of WWE making decisions that make business sense.

Yes, they are winning despite of having a shitty week after their Netflix announcement.

A week ago, all wrestling heads were discussing the Vince McMahon case.

This past weekend, the only thing these same wrestling heads discussed was the Rock/Roman/Cody segment.

And as @XXXplosive mentioned, their stock is up. That is the definition of winning while losing, given the circumstances.

I'm just stating facts when I say the TKO stock has gone up despite all the recent controversies.
If that gets you triggered into a rant about Hogan, then that's on you.
Being a member of the "Morality Police" in wrestling (an industry known to be sleazy with a history of known racists, drunks, drug users, steroid abuser, wife beaters, etc.) is kinda laughable to me.
You really think all your favorite Japanese wrestlers don't hold prejudiced views towards black people? LOL

Who's cheerleading? Can you not think critically?
Why yes, yes I can think critically. Can you point to a time that I wasn't?

Yep, a billion dollar company is still able to endure and financially have a good week despite sex trafficking allegations. The same billion dollar company that loves to use sambo-like personas (words I believe you used for New Day) for their black characters. Who would employ rapists, racists even murderers. The same company that has no problem culture vulturing the very best of our culture for everyone that isn't Black....Did anyone really expect THIS would bring the WWE down? A majority of their fan base don't care about anything I just mentioned and will overlook all of what I said as long as the next Great White Hope gets the belt.

That is a wrestling heads job. New news breaks, their job is to cover it...that's what News does. New developments break with Vince they'll talk about that again. Something happens with Rock/Roman/Cody again, guess what? They'll talk about that too. You aren't gonna get much traction if you only talk about one story as other stories occur.
And as @XXXplosive mentioned, their stock is up. That is the definition of winning while losing, given the circumstances.
Losing makes it seem like something was taken away. Netflix deal, former wrestlers returning, TKO deal, stock on the rise, Rock becoming apart of the board. They lost Vince... A piece of shyt octogenarian. Pretty sure this isn't a "loss"! If anything this is forced retirement! Or maybe we just have different definitions of loss. But I am interested in what YOU think they loss.
