TK said In 2024 he's gonna be active in free agency to sign female talent. Bringing in Deonna is a no brainer. Kamille (the white Jade) is more of a project but if you send her to Stardom for six months she could develop into a solid wrestler.

Deonna already failed to move the needle in WWE. So I expect her in AEW.

Kamille has the look of a WWE superstar but I think she should go to TNA.

Mercedes needs US Television exposure. However the talent level in AEW is beneath her she will not have the bangers she could have in NJPW or WWE. So her time will be wasted trying to elevate Britt Baker and Kris Statlander when she could be facing, Charlotte, Bianca, Rhea, IO, Asuka, Bailey or help bring up the newer talent Rok-C or Tiffany Stratton. Potential suitors like Jade or Guilia

If this is true, congratulations to her on getting paid. I still have no faith in TK with how he books his women's division. She'll end up getting (unfairly) the blame when it isn't booked right, and will probably want to walk out by the end of 2024.

Maybe this will FINALLY force TK to give a damn about the women's division, but we'll see.

So basically, if the rumors is true and she's coming to AEW...This decision is prob based on her trademark name that she want to go by in wrestling??...Also, I read something that If she went back to WWE, she had to go back to her original name and she didn't want to do that..

I never saw her wrestle, but all this going on to signed her she must be a pretty good wrestler!!..

Still not convinced she signed, until we see an official release, announcement or her on camera at an AEW show.

From what I remember reading, she filed for the trademarks before Christmas, then posted the Happy Happy Holidays post on social medias for Christmas.

Remember how all the dirt sheet writers and twitter wrestling "journalists" were so wrong about Punk returning to WWE? We really won't know until an announcement is made, but the teases, rumors, etc...make this very interesting.

Whether she goes to AEW or WWE I'm wishing her the best. Do I believe she would be better off at WWE? Yes, especially considering TK's shitty booking of women. Remember how everyone thought the Keith Lee signing was a game changer? The Andrade signing, the Miro signing, Paige/Saraya, etc...

I like Mercedes/Sasha and believe she is a star but she is easily replaceable in WWE.

I don't see her being the game changer for AEW, because most AEW fans aren't tuning in for their women's division.

I was saying for a long time that TK don't give a fuck about the Women's Division at AEW!!...They were only a fill in for the show!!..But now, I see him paying attention and bring in new and good talent to build a good Women's Division at AEW!!...

I never saw this Mercedes chick wrestle before...I guess she's pretty good with all this is going on to get her!!..

Yeah I project she takes the bag from TK and be heading back to WWE by 2024.....

I think she knows this too. For Mercedes to go to AEW maybe it's just about the bag. Like I said a few weeks back...these wrestlers like her, and Punk...these are WWE people. They deserve to be the biggest stars on the biggest wrestling promotion.

Like even now is Mercede more popular now then she was at her height in WWE? Among die hards I'm sure she's the same. But she has aspirations for being a crossover star and in WWE she was on shows like the Mandalorian and all that other shit. She's gonna tap back into that mainstream at some point.

Yeah...to add to it, I can see her getting a buzz, but, with things like where WWE and AEW stand as far as TV deals, I would think she would want to wait until the smoke clears to see where each promotion will land.

Triple H is (trolling) making an announcement on Peacock this week and I'm wondering if it is to announce their TV deal. It could be a variety of things, but Mercedes may want to wait before she signs on any dotted line just yet.....

WWE is basically the hottest it's been in over ten years, and depending on where they fall in the TV deal landscape (WB or elsewhere) that can open up some more opportunities for her and others in Hollywood.

Hell, The Rock returning alone should make folks consider if they have the option....

WWE Heavyweight Championship
WWE Undisputed Universal Championship (Once Roman loses I think they'll change the name to just the WWE Championship)
WWE US Championship
WWE Intercontinental Championship
WWE Women's Championship
WWE Women's World Championship
WWE Raw Tag Team Championships
WWE Smackdown Tag Team Championships
WWE Women's Tag Team Championships (Merged with NXT Women's Championship)
NXT Championship
NXT Women's Championship
NXT North American Championship
NXT Heritage Cup
NXT Tag Team Championship

14 over 3 brands. They should merge the Raw & Smackdown Tag Team Belts.
Honestly, both promotions have too many belts for my liking.
WWE should just have one championship instead of this new championship belt they created for Seth Rollins.
There should only be one tag team and one women's champion across both brands.

If she is indeed going to AEW, she's just there to take TK's money and I ain't mad at her for doing so.
She scratched her Japanese itch already so now she's just looking to add to her band account.
I'm sure she'll get a big reaction when she debuts and in a month she'll be having matches with subpar talent on Friday and Saturday nights when no one is watching.
When all is said and done, she'll go back to WWE where she can ultimately have the most mainstream exposure for Hollywood.

Lolz how many belts has AEW show on their television programs? Does everyone get a belt?
  • AEW world championship
  • TNT championship
  • Atlantic Championship
  • Tag Championships
  • Trios Championship
  • Women's Championship
  • TBS Championship
  • FTW Championship
  • ROH Tag Championships
  • ROH World Championship
  • ROH TV Championship
  • ROH Women's Championship
  • NJPW Strong Championship
  • Continental Tournament Championship....
Am I missing any?
I remember the old Inside Wrestling Roll call of champions I thought WWC had alot of belts but the AEW vanity project is on a whole notha level

Sucks because I want Maya May and Aminata to equally have successful runs. Especially Aminata because she has the looks and in-ring ability to seen as more than just enhancement talent.

I usually don't watch 'reaction' videos but this was a really good watch. Good to see Maven alive and healthy. Glad he made it out of the business.

Actually this dude is known to be a very safe worker. Entertaining as hell to watch. He gives me a Jack cartwheel vibe. Entertaining but their move set and lack of character means they’ll never make it to wwe level. Good times for us Indy fans though!

I have no clue who he is. He can be the safest worker ever. With that said, I understand being a wrestler is inherently risky. It just looks like that maneuver is too risky. And if I was his opponent, I would never agree to sell that move. The payoff wouldn't be enough. The setup which is not in the tweet wouldn't look very TV friendly without looking fake. If he's tired, it leaves your legs exposed to a major injury if the maneuver isn't executed perfectly every time.

Watched tonight's AEW show....wanted to like it but just found it boring.

The reasoning behind Cole turning on MJF was weak. Why help Samoa Joe win it? Yes, I know, MJF is injured...it just comes off making Joe look weak, and Wardlow look even weaker by being Cole's lacky now...

No Mercedes but Deonna Purrazzo debuted. I'm sure that will help their women's division, doubt that'll put butts in seats...Also, is she looking extra heavy or was it me? Crowd looked dead and disappointed it wasn't Mercedes lolz

Darby and Takeashita was entertaining for a few.

The four way match to see who will face Eddie was just a spot fest with no real story. I hate when AEWs cameras spend too much time on wresters (Vikingo in this case) finishing a move and just chilling outside the ring waiting for the match to finish. As long as he got his shit in I guess.

The Garcia/Swerve match was decent, even with that botch. I'm not feeling the dancing shit, it just comes off as too cartoonish for a man like Swerve to be taken seriously. He needs to drop Nana.

The ending was kind of dumb and made no sense to have Hangman out there and confront Swerve.

One minute Hangman cuts a promo pissed off at Adam Cole and the Undisputed Era/Samoa Joe attacking him, next minute he attacks Swerve in the ring. Yeah, I know they had a brutal match a few weeks ago but...Why?

My thoughts on last night's Dynamite...

I thought it was an good show. A step in the right direction and a reset of sorts for 2024. It felt fresh and focused. Multiple and consistent stories. Solid promos and character progression. Good matches.

- Samoa Joe's opening promo was short and sweet and established what needed to be established.

- Adam Cole, Roderick Strong, Matt Taven, Mike Bennett and Wardlow have now been repackaged as Undisputed Kingdom. I had no issue with why Adam Cole did what he did. The good that can come out of this is it's created a variety of storylines. Jay White/Bullet Club Gold are after Undisputed Kingdom. The Acclaimed are after Undisputed Kingdom and MJF when he returns from injury will be after Undisputed Kingdom. There's an array of storylines you can milk for months and months to come.

- What more can be said about Christian Cage. Doing the best work of his career. Phenomenal stuff!

- I love that all the matches had clean finishes continuing the sports based feel of the Continental classic tournament. This is what we want. The less Shenanigans involved in a match the better. Give us New Japan style clean finishes.

- Mariah May's debut was a success. The Stardom training has really paid off. She's fluid in her move execution and movement. Her presentation and charisma were on point and she's a solid promo. She'll have a great career in AEW if TK doesn't fumble her.

- I love that Deonna Purrazzo is All Elite. A great addition to the women's division. A main eventer who is gonna give you solid feuds and matches. I already see a great feud she can have with Britt Baker in the future.

- There does seem to be an added focus on the women's division as of late. Hopefully TK is serious about turning the women's division around because with the amount of talent that they have in that division it could easily be the best women's division in the United States if book properly.

- Although it was speculated that Mercedes was going to show up I understand why they didn't have her debut this week. The show was in New Jersey so it made better sense to have Deonna Purrazzo debut in her hometown. Bringing Mercedes out would've stepped all over that. They'll probably have Mercedes come out next week where they can put the full attention on her. Do a tease vignette on "Collision" where you don't see her face but you get the hint that it's her then next Dynamite you debut her.

- The Takeshita/Darby match was fantastic. So many great spots. It's been so long since Takeshita has been in the ring you forget how special he is. He definitely needs to see gold of some kind in 2024.

- The four way between Trent Beretta, Brian Cage, Bryan Keith, and Vikingo was just okay. At least it was to determine the next opponent for Eddie Kingston.

- Swerve/Daniel Garcia was good. TK overbooked the ending by having Hangman come out. Why are we revisiting this feud? Give Swerve somebody new. Give Hangman somebody new.
