So much for people saying Cole was at the desk looking angry when Punk came out

Lolz business is about to (continue to) pick up....

All those guys were working for the camera.

WWE has been firing on all cylinders...but them signing Punk is like a college football team running up the score....

WWE talent are going to eat very well this upcoming year.

How does this sound like he's leaving? This is a pretty big stretch Armstrong reach from you...
The tweet reads like it was drafted by TK himself.

The fact TK is forcing AEW talent to tweet pro AEW tweets like this, I can't imagine him nor many others who have worked in WWE would want to stay.

...so now Punk is a fan favorite again??? All the botches in AEW. Forgotten! Asshole behavior, NEVER HAPPENED!!! Wrestling fans are THEE most shyttyest fanbase!

If I am TK I am no longer hiring WWE talent. For the ex WWE talent focus writers on them and for your indy darlings, give them spot matches. Focus on what got you to this dance and quit trying to be something that you're not.
You gotta remember wrestling fans ain't shit.
You can be the biggest asshole in the world, get injuried, take 5 months off to heal, and come back to a heroes welcome.

Roman was getting booed for 10 minutes straight until he got sick and went away for awhile.

Wrestling fans have the memory of a gold fish and fall in line with new narratives with ease

Bet Punk wish he could debut a month ago and got some of that Saudi money

I wonder which show has the biggest payouts for talent Mania or Crown Jewel?

It's the "Wait a minute, but didn't you just say..." of it all. Shit is just awkward. But there's no way it wouldn't be. At this point, just got let this play itself out. It's about to Mania season. We're in for a lot.

Funny he took subtle shots at TK (I’m the most feared man in pro wrestling) and The Elite (I’m not here to make friends, I’m here to make money)….but I was hoping for more….guess the anticipation made me wish for more.

Hope they slow build it with him, as it looks like they will. When Punk debuted with AEW, his “glad to be back” character got old fast, Hope WWE doesn’t make the same mistake here, and if they are leaning towards a Punk/Rollins feud, it looks like they won’t.

Great Muta's daughter is wrestling now. Big shoes to fill. This could either be great or a disaster. It all hinges on her wrestling ability. You can't have the Great Muta gimmick and wrestle like Liv Morgan. She needs to be great in the ring.

Wait is this how The Great Kabuki created him?

I'm digging the fact that WWE is acknowledging that she is popular with the fans but not quite ring ready.

I've only seen a few of her AEW matches and they all had that 'Goldberg' feel to them. That is to say, someone who isn't just over with the fans but they're over the godamn moon .... too bad they're greener than fresh cut grass and can't wrestle for shit.

Keeping her down in the performance center is good for now. They still have a few months before Rumble and the road to Wrestlemania storylines start up. Hopefully she can be ring ready by Rumble and have her first WWE match at Elimination Chamber to set up her big Mania debut match.

Probably against Charlotte who win get the win  This is still WWE we're talking about. No way Charlotte puts someone else over 2 Manias in a row
Yeah I respect how they handle Jade it always shows that this is a different team running things because Vince would've had her ass out there day 1.

Yeah that Punk promo was mid for his standards but I think maybe it had to be mid. It did what it was suppose to do. He had to do some damage control, didn't directly go at his past promotion...he checked all the boxes. It comes easy for Punk. How they follow up is what I want to see.

Pretty underwhelming promo by Punk. Almost as if he just rehashed his AEW debut promo.
Agreed. I was definitely expecting more.
Seems like he wasn't given a lot of time and he's definitely being handcuffed by the NDA I'm sure TK had him sign before leaving AEW.
He needs someone to play off on the mic like Seth Rollins to really get things going.

It was good to see Randy coming down to the ring again.
He definitely looks old, not older, old.
He also has that same energy Cena does, like they're just enjoying their last run now and having fun.
Randy looks a little stiff (pause) like his back is still giving him some problems.
I'm surprised he's still doing RKOs as that move puts a lot of stress on the back, but I guess that's his thing so he has to keep doing it.

Wrestling fans and their selective amnesia

If true this is actually great news. That's the direction they should've went in to begin with. Sports based New Japan style. The true alternative to WWE that we were promised from the start.

I actually agree with this. I always called out AEW early on for going back on their original promise of being more sports based, especially when they basically became WWE Lite. I may actually watch the product if they do this.

Yeah which kind of leads me to believe maybe his back straight? He did look stiff I just thought he was swole lol
I couldn't really tell
Part of me thought he just looked stiff like he's working off ring rust.
Another pattern of me did think he looked more stole than normal. Randy ain't never been a muscle-bond Vince prototype.

I hope the added muscle works with his ring style.

I can't imagine Vince McMahon having to go to Bret Hart asking him if he should fire someone

Vince would turn around and break your contract lol.

Yeah and that's why you need a Vince at times. You need someone at times to make decisions who have millions and billions on the line. Putting that power in wrestlers hands is crazy and thirsty. Someone gotta be the adult in the room not the best friend.

One thing I had like about Vince was that he was a Boss!!..He never let the wrestlers or anybody else run his company!!...
