Wargames matches without blood and grittiness don't do it for me. A part of the lore of the original Wargames was it had an edginess to it and the blood enhanced that. Wargames these days come off too sanitized. Don't like it.

I think the issue with DB same with Mox was they couldn't do everything they creatively wanted to do in the ring or go to Japan and wrestle from time to time. I've said before WWE should have a pure wrestling show to satisfy those urges some of these dudes have.
And how many times have both been injured in their runs in AEW? Maybe having a company that stops reckless shit and saves wrestlers from themselves isn’t a bad thing?
It's not a bad thing. You can have a wresting show without leaning so much into the sport entertainment or even just giving them a little bit more creative say-so. I do think both would have stuck around if HHH had taken over for Vince sooner.
