He ain't no rookie, we have seen his peak, he has a low ceiling... He takes care of the ball, but how many points has Tyrod' offense scored in 2 games? DJ has not had a chance to play with Barkley and this well improved defense.
They will not bench Jones until Tyrod's offense lights up the scoreboard.

The Coach isn't playing DJ if he's going to lose games and in turn his job. DJ isn't a young QB either. His contract size isn't going to win him games or make him a better QB. It's TT job unless he plays worse than DJs body if work this year.
