I'm making plans to be out of Houston permanently by the end of summer. It is not going to be safe living in this region anymore. With the Houston-Galveston NWS office being almost 50% understaffed, people are going to die behind this. Plus, in the event you're lucky enough to make it through a major hurricane alive, now there's no more FEMA to help you put the pieces back together if your property is destroyed. This country is fucked in so many different ways It's beyond belief.
