I think THIS is the major divide that alot of people torn about and why "voteps" don't understand the "nonvoters".
I understand when the voteps bring this up. I do. But it makes 100% sense of WHY they "nonvoters" don't/won't participate.

Let's look at it from a business standpoint (after all voting IS a business). If I had a product (candidate) that constantly was being trashed, and outsold by my competition, I'd a DAMN FOOL if I didn't sit down with my marketing team and actual customers/former customers and SEE why no one was fucking with my product. If I said "well fuck the 70% of my customers who think I'm trash now" I'd suspect I'd be out of business within a year. I'd go back to the drawing board and try to reach that 70% and see HOW I can earn their business (votes) again.

Biden's infrastructure bill will help, but you still have some GOP led states that won't properly distribute money to black areas. That is affecting daily life NOW. Food insecurity is affecting people NOW. Lack of healthy care is affecting people NOW. Working on and progressing in areas where we can progress while working toward other goals is the smart thing to do. It's easy to understand, why Louisiana (and similar states) are so fucked up and go hard-core RED. Outside the urban areas ((new orleans, Monroe, Shreveport, and Baton Rouge)(which tend to go blue), overwhelming, and the keyword is OVERWHELMINGLY the rest of the parishes and counties are hardcore red. While blacks and minorities are in every single parish, the numbers are way too low to make any difference in these places. Assuming every single black and minority group voted BLUE, it will not change because the majority of voters who are white have the numbers to keep the state deep red. While it's true that we black folks need to get more involved and ACTUALLY VOTE, the real question should be asked is why do WHITE FOLKS keep voting automatically Republican when the facts show, the Republicans when in positions of power don't tend to improve the lives of the citizens that elected them unless of course your talking business. Election after election rules improving businesses tend to be better for business than the white folks who voted Republican because their candidate said they would improve their lives. So in the end, unless minorities Multiply their voting numbers in every parish outside of (new orleans, Monroe, Shreveport, and Baton Rouge, louisiana will keep repeating this cycle over and over again.

Think about the Atlantic slave trade. How many slaves did they try to import and how many arrived to the slave destination? How many revolts happened? What is the total number of slaves who openly revolted?
