Yeah I have posted about this on here a lot. It isn't "slave like situations" or anything, literally slave auctions...
People for sale: Where lives are auctioned for $400
Tripoli, Libya (CNN) – “Eight hundred,” says the auctioneer. “900 … 1,000 … 1,100 …” Sold. For 1,200 Libyan dinars – the equivalent of $800.
Not a used car, a piece of land, or an item of furniture. Not “merchandise” at all, but two human beings.
One of the unidentified men being sold in the grainy cell phone video obtained by CNN is Nigerian. He appears to be in his twenties and is wearing a pale shirt and sweatpants.
He has been offered up for sale as one of a group of “big strong boys for farm work,” according to the auctioneer, who remains off camera. Only his hand – resting proprietorially on the man’s shoulder – is visible in the brief clip.
After seeing footage of this slave auction, CNN worked to verify its authenticity and traveled to Libya to investigate further.
Carrying concealed cameras into a property outside the capital of Tripoli last month, we witness a dozen people go “under the hammer” in the space of six or seven minutes.
“Does anybody need a digger? This is a digger, a big strong man, he’ll dig,” the salesman, dressed in camouflage gear, says. “What am I bid, what am I bid?”
Recent images of slave markets in Libya exposed a crisis impacting as many as 40 million people worldwide. Omer Karasapan and Sajjad Shah discuss modern day slavery and what development actors can do to address it.

An estimated 650,000 have crossed the Sahara desert in the last 5 years seeking a better life. But thousands have been sold into slavery.

Shit, Tunisia has a President who said this:
In February, Tunisian President Kais Saied warned his country of a plan to
change Tunisia’s “demographic make-up”, to turn it into
“just another African country that doesn’t belong to the Arab and Islamic nations any more”.
Tunisia has a complex history with Black refugees and migrants, as well as its own native Black population.

Just in case you were wondering, he cant be racist he has "Black" friends.
“
I am African, and proud to be so,” he said in televised comments.
He said some of his family members are married to sub-Saharan Africans and that he had friends in law school who were Africans. He also described Africans as “brothers.’’

Tunisia’s president has rejected accusations that he is stoking anti-Black racism. He says that he has sub-Saharan African friends and that his comments last month targeting migrants were misinterpreted by his enemies.

The Gaddafi veneration that happens on here is also bizarre given he said similar things:
"Tomorrow Europe might no longer be European, and even black, as there are millions who want to come in," said Col Gaddafi, quoted by the AFP news agency.
He was speaking at a ceremony in Rome late on Monday, standing next to Italy's Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi.
"We don't know what will happen, what will be the reaction of the white and Christian Europeans faced with this influx of starving and ignorant Africans," Col Gaddafi said.
Libya's Col Gaddafi says the EU should pay Libya at least 5bn euros a year to stop illegal African immigration and avoid a "black Europe".
