Music Debate: Other than Redman, which rapper had 3 classic in a row starting out?

damn that is an interesting comparison...

and I mean that

if you really dig into that comparison on multiple levels

damn that fits.

wow i gotta think on that one.
I've always thought of Drake like that. Not to say that he doesn't have some good music. But if one eats McDonald's they will say they have some good fries....

THAT is a PERFECT album

but even SEVEN CLASSIC UNDISPUTED HITS isn't classic status...

wait a minute you know what?

let me think on something...

Cause Illmatic is the standard right?

OK...

while it is a GREAT GREAT GREAT song and especially in context is a classic addition.

Represent as a song on its on?

could we argue is 'skippable"?

Blasphemy I know...

but should a CLASSIC album have ANY skippable songs on it?
I have no problem at all with Represent.

Personally I think an album can have a skippable song or two as long as the album is just that solid.

How do u like the new Nas album. The 1st king was solid. Not great but solid. Way better than that Kanye produced shit...

i liked the first one it was VERY solid a little bit over hyped but worthy of the accolades.

2nd one again very solid I would say even better because of how it flowed.

But I really liked the features...

I'm kinda school cause I like to LIVE with an album for a little while before I give it a FINAL judgement.

I like that record like I said

and ALL this some is subjective

but we have to acknowledge some stuff is Shakespeare, Picasso, Beethoven status

Illmatic is that.
