I'm not going to argue what is morally right. I personally would pay anyone who assisted me. From what was said, Math wasn't necessarily obligated to pay them. The exception is Bigga who was providing security.

The other thing that was said was that they allegedly weren't aware of the amount of money Math was potentially bringing in. It comes off like they didn't mind doing it for free until they learned Math could pay. Once they learned the truth and asked to be paid, Math seemingly was willing. I think Math had a none compete clause in the contract. They clearly didn't want to sign the non compete. When they didn't sign, Math didn't want to pay them. I don't know that to be true but that is what seems to have occurred.

Even the part about bringing their show to Math's network makes a little more sense with the information that came out. For better or worse Esso didn't trust Math to keep them around if Esso couldn't help with Math's music career. Esso probably also wanted a bigger cut, so he didn't want the his show under Math. This is also why they didn't want to sign the contract because that means they potentially can't do anything without Math.

Even if Bigga had money, Math still should have paid him for his security services at the normal rate. Now if he didn't want him as a host or help start his own pod, he should have been upfront about it. That gives Bigga the opportunity to leave or stay to learn more about podcast like he mentioned.This reminds me of people who ask for loans but never pay them back because you are allegedly well off. Being rich doesn't mean I want to work for free.

As far as being late, I'd have to know what for. Bigga is security, so I'd expect him to be there before anyone. Now if Bigga didn't consider himself security and provided the people that's different. His people are the ones protecting the guest, Math and/or other cohost. Bigga doesn't need to be there at all in that instance. In general, I'd think it's not the best idea to have people walking in or out while filming.if Bigga was late for some sort of cohost role, I don't agree with that given Math wasn't paying him for that.

Truthfully, all of the other cohost should have been more understandingabout the late thing. Yes, you aren't being paid, but you told me you'd show up at 8pm. If you don't want to show up on time or contribute to behind the scenes prep, don't agree to come to the show.

I never believed the lost 6k story either. even if he did, that's on him. He should have gone to the bank and got another 6k or better send it digitally.as the owner it's his responsibility to take the loss; not his employee.

With that logic the people being interviewed should be paid. From my understanding, that's not how it traditional works.

If they were formal employees or contractors, they should have gotten paid per their agreements. It's fuck up, but that's the reality of the world. You can't claim to be helping your friends and then cry about never being paid especially if you never asked to be paid. I don't know if it's legally changed, but let's not act as though unpaid internships, apprenticeship or volunteer work doesn't exist. I'm not saying that is what they were doing. My point is be upfront about being fairly compensated if that is what you are looking for. I honestly believe most people are not going to do the right thing especially if you're talking about real money. People will bearly give you gas money, money for watching their kid or help move furniture.



The reality is you get what you accept or what someone believes your role is worth. From their own mouths they were initially fine with being compensated with potential brand recognition. Being on Math's platform was a good look that they hoped would translate to value on their show. They were technically being compensated with what they initially wanted. Then they asked to be compensated in cash. Obviously, Math never paid all the cash for whatever reason.

I liked Bigga and he should of just offered to pay him something cause he was just his friend,even if it was free promotion for his security company.

Esso or whatever is a loud mouth that talks about "What he brings to the table","His connections" motherfucker no one knew who you was before Math's show just like they really don't know what you do now talking about being friends with DJ Clue....Clue.....Clue....Clue that does nothing for you now.

However with YouTube many platforms do pay their guests, right no I don’t think that MEO does that.

Boosie mentioned that Vlad paid or pays him 40k for an interview because they generate millions of views.

I know about vlad, but he's one of the exception to the rules. Even then, does he do it with every guest now? I was honestly thinking of anyone being interviewed regardless of the media platform tv, radio, podcast or magazine.

I always assumed most interviews are unpaid. The person being interviewed gets to market their product or tell their version of a story. The interviewer gets people to tune in or read especially if it's an exclusive. It just good marketing for both. Plus how would that work in radio with artists. I'd think paying for interviews would be to close to payola.

It's deep, but it's really not.

The fact of the matter whether there was a contract or not.

You can't show up with thousand dollar shoes, two thousand dollars sweaters, diamond pendants on your chain and a diamond Rolex and not pay people anything.

It's not about money, it's about pride and respect.

If you love your Brothers, the. You treat your Brothers accordingly and that's with respect.

Esso estimated that the show made 200k a month.

200k a month an nobody get nothing?

Their relationship didn't and over money, it ended because someone's a piece of shit.

Let me get personal cause the Bigga thing hurt my heart.

when my mom died I had friends and family I ain't spoken to in years you know due to life or just dumb old beef

And they BEGGED me to take the funeral money I said no, people got mad. They took it like disrespect and I still held a grudge. It wasn't. I was embarrassed. Not about the money. But the generosity. That was the gift not the money. It was overwhelming. They were going into 401k to give my mom a proper send off. That was not about money it was about love.

My point is if I know (or believe I know your heart) everything is everything. We good. We will figure it all out later.

But friendship means not suffering in silence. If you can't work free be honest. And don't do it. Can't blame another man for that. Now he don't pay you after he said he would? He your friend? Forgive him and we can't work together no more. No beef.

It's money. It's business.

Trust me I've been played we ALL have. Many dudes I'm still cool with and joke about it

but they will get my time energy or money ever again.

And I know it hurts them but even after paying me back? Nah can't do business. But we can go to this cookout and watch the game after.
