If you want to fix issues you have with parenting or the child support system the easiest way is to fix your relationship with your baby's mother. News flash fellas. Women don't have to put you on child support. The court actually prefers if you come to an agreement between each other. But when you lack the conflict resolution skills to effectively have a conversation about the best well being of the child and you let your emotions get involved the court steps in. The court can't control your emotions or your behavior but they can hit your wallet. And that's what they do.
The line it's cheaper to keep her is real. And even if you ain't keeping her keep her in the fold give her a hug make her feel like she is part of your tribe and even if you ain't with her she will be down and loyal. Visiting once a week does not compare to being in the home everyday or within reach in an hour or less. Money doesn't make up for the connection you lose with your kid. It's the reason why parents who focusi on buying things for their kids raise kids who view them as banks instead of parents.
I never said he was wrong for attempting to be a father figure. I said he's wrong for not knowing his role in the dynamic of the relationship. The reality is that is not his son. Assuming Future really does what to take part in that child's life it's Russell role to help facilitate that with Ciara or stay out of it all together. You don't need to be best friends but you all need to work together as a unit. That's why alot of people claim they don't want pre-made families. They don't want that type of responsibility or outside people having a vote on their home. Russell didn't get tricked. He went in to his relationship and marriage knowing a child existed, so he accepted the duties better or worse that come with being a step parent. Like it or not dealing with Future Senior is part of the package.

I’m frontline in the court system. I’ve had to help many brothers out with custody and paperwork etc etc. I don’t teach none of this stuff to women at all. So I’m all for fathers, theirs just so many X-Factors that happen in court. That’s unpredictable women stick together and no the system way better than men.
At a certain age they can put the kid on the stand. And get the kid to say I don’t want to go over dads house no more. Regardless of the order the baby father no the mother made the kid lie on the stand. Judge then will a therapists for the minor, mother will except play the role.
Come back maybe 6 months later..meanwhile you just got your child taken away until the kid get better. Comeback 6 months and not her says I couldn’t afford to take him to therapy due to work or being sick, or school activities. Judge give her another try by this time the father is pissed. I haven’t seen my kid in 6 months your honor. Well sir will give you 2 hours of supervised visits at a park every other weekend.
Overall I have plenty of stories just like you. And I hate to bring up the dude whole hit the mother in the carry out and the boy shot and killed him. But he also had two daughters as he got killed. NO I DONT AGREE THAT HE HIT THE WOMEN!!

Go visit a women's shelter foster care etc.
And listen and see what many men do to their wives baby mothers and kids.
Most men go to court, hold on real talk? Most don't show up. Most don't want the kid. Most don't make an effort to get lawyers.

No. You are missing the point. Their issue is not about money, taking weekend trips or moving. It's about their ability to effectively work together for the benefit of the kid. From what we can see, they can not behave like adults. Future moving doesn't change any of that. You also aren't factoring his other 50 kids who may also be spread out. All three choose to be a part of that situation. It's up to them to be civil and remove whatever personal issues to the side.
You talked about your friend. Do you have personal experience on any level? Do you even have kids? If not, you're really talking out of your ass like most people tend to do in these types of discussions. Just like every non- parent says they'd homeschool their child.

Yes, let's make it by law that every child a man fathers MUST spend 50% of their time living with the father and that father has to then fully take care of all his children 50% of the time. Get them to school, get them fed, make sure they do their home work, parent conferences at school, for every single child.

The examples are of any co-parenting situation that involves step-parents. To your own point, Future could easily move. That doesn't address the root cause of their problems from what we are able to see.You are ignoring my larger point that they'd likely have issues regardless of where the kid was located.
The person was speaking to co-parenting at a distance. He never mentioned money or the ability to relocate. You brought that into the discussion. I'm taking the initial statement as can you be an effective parent from out of state. Not does Future have the means to relocate. From out of state, you'll hopefully do your best, but you can visit every week and it's not the same as being in state. It literally makes co-parenting harder if it works at all.
I have biological and step child so I'm speaking from that experience. You do the best you can for the best interest of the kid. That is what all parents should aim for and real coparenting means working together. Everyone has their own rules but the key is to avoid bullshit which these people can't seem to do. I'm not pointing a finger at one person but two of the three are definitely responsible and the third may not be helping the situation.
