Official 2025 NFL Discussion preseason edition!!!

This may be a permanent fixture in the near future if it's redesigned to be more sturdy

What is the Guardian Cap?

The Guardian Cap is a soft, padded outer shell that is worn around the outside of players’ helmets. The NFL says that they can reduce concussions by up to 10% if one player involved in a collision is wearing one of them and up to 20% if both players involved in a collision have them on. For the last three seasons, before the Guardian Cap mandate began, the NFL has reported 30 documented concussions per year during preseason practices.

This is what I don't get about the Colts and the JT situation.
The Colts currently have no one on their roster that is due a huge pay day any time soon.
Sign the man for 3 years, and by the time that contract is up, Anthony Richardson, would become eligible for a new contract if he is playing well.
Maybe Irsay is leery of that ankle injury, and doesn't want to get caught paying a RB who has already seen his best days.
Those contracts signed by Todd Gurley, LeVeon Bell, and Zeke, have owners very cautious about handing out big dollars to RBs.

Such a biased answer from WRs. And they always come with the ol a DB is a WR that can't catch. A WR knows the route and what shoulder to turn from the QB from practice. A DB has to back peddle at top speed trying to watch the WRs hips, feet, hands plus keep an eye on the QB. Once that DB turns his hips to run with the WR now his chances to defend are just instinct and anticipation.

5 and out or a WR screen just turn around, wow difficult. Yet WR still dont know to be on or off the line of scrimmage, not difficult.
On a run play the DB has to fight off the WR just to make a play on the RB. The WR just stands there while the ball is on the other side of the field. That DB still has to make a play towards the ball running across the field, avoiding a chop block from a TE or FB. Then line up and chase that WR up the field who just got rest cause he didn't do anything previously.

Yeah I played DB, haha.
