Heard good things...

Still haven't watched a single episode yet

It's pretty good overall. The chemistry has always been there for decades with friends Steve Martin and Martin Short.

Short's delivery and mannerisms are funny to watch.

Interesting having Selena Gomez there as the "straight man" ... watching her exchanges with them. Her acting is more stiff, so you're not sure how much of that she's playing up. Flat, monotone delivery and all, lol.

Internet is forever. Jenny gonna have to hold this L.

But we better be careful checking EVERY RECEIPT... cause any one of us could be next.

The Lincoln Lawyer Season 2

First off my family including myself absolutely hated what Maggie did other than that i loved the theatrical demonstrations in the courtroom and how this show displays how someones life can be pulled apart when they are on trial, you find out all the good and bad things.Even witnesses are broken down and their integrity is questionable.
Nice work from the entire cast im glad everyone gets to have their moments
There was a kind of predictable turn and actually reminded me of Patrick Dempseys story arc in The Practice
Theres Definitely a character i will miss seeing
I hope to see more of Yaya Dacosta portraying Andrea “Andy” Freeman

Star Trek: Strange New Worlds

The season is over already?!? Wow 2 and a half months flew by. First off the SFX in this episode were top notch
A nice TREKKIE surprise !! One scene reminded me of one of my favorite scenes from the Serenity movie
UGH I NEED MORE MORE !! Oh well looking forward to season 3

Is ANY ACTOR happy to work on a TV show????

Cause they ALL complaining now.

He is fortunate to be in a position to just cut out of a TV show along with picking whatever future projects he wants to get involved with.

There are hundreds of actors who would have done that role for less money just to have a job.

Checked out the s2 premiere of Winning Time, and 2nd ep of s2 of Dark Winds yesterday. Enjoyed both.

Also have 2 eps to go with season 2 of Joe Pickett. Apparently it’s the final season. Enjoying the season and hoping they circle back to the antagonists from the very start of the season. Felt they were underutilized. Did enjoy the twist / reveal with someone else though.

Also caught up on a handful of Average Joe eps earlier in the week. Really liking the involvement of the teacher. Good character addition to the show. Especially when they are quiet and methodical.

That’s my vague / non spoiler set of updates, lol.

The West Wing is actually the show I'm watching now. I'm almost at the end of season one-- I've been watching an episode nearly every night and it has really exceeded my expectations.

I know Bradley Whitford only from The Handmaid's Tale and I knew he was on here but I was a couple of episodes in before I figured out who he was. He looked so different! And a super young Elizabeth Moss was a nice surprise-- she sounds like a little girl compared to on THT. Mad Men has been on my list for a long time and might be next for me so that'll basically take me through every year from her late teens through her 40s.

Meant to also add ... checked out episode 3 of Reservation Dogs' final season last night.

Best episode of the season so far.

It was a standalone episode for one of the background / secondary characters that was briefly featured in season 1 or 2. One of the main cast members plays a supporting role to said person & is featured less.

Heavy subject matter.

The last shot of the episode as the end credits began to roll had me Googling and reading recaps a few minutes later.

Damn that was the best episode of the whole series.

Indeed - definitely right up there.

Shows how good the show is when a standalone episode about a guest appearance / secondary character is so well done.

I played back the scene when the person was walking out of the house, and the mellow song was playing. Kind of wish they let that song keep playing.

@Politic Negro - my fave episodes from season 2 last year were episodes 4, 9, and 10. Rewatched those episodes after they aired. Very moving.

In the future once you've had a chance to check out the first 2 seasons of The Bear ...

IDK if anyone has watched it, but check out All 3 seasons of Ramy and the extra stuff.

Thanks for the reminder. Been meaning to check out this series for quite awhile. It's been on "the list" for some time. Gonna get around to it eventually. He's also co-creator of the well-received show, Mo ...
