Yup. !st time I seen that shit was when I went to Montreal at the Airport. That airport is so clean you can eat off the floor.Y`al seen the shit at Sam`s Club that sweep n mop the floor all day ....?..smh
Also a way for companies to cut back on human workers.. no cashier needed means less people to hire.. so even though it sounds like a cool idea it’s a strategic way to cut out the common man to have a job opportunity
My wife seen me cross the mf up, bitchass robot ain’t know what to doY`al seen the shit at Sam`s Club that sweep n mop the floor all day ....?..smh
I love that option, scan and goSam's club ain't got carts. But I scan and pay thru the app. Fuck waiting in line.
niggas gonna be peeling the barcodes off and throwin shit in the basket.
the workaround is already in motion.
AI bout to cost these companies millions in losses....lol.
I'm sure they already up on that. For the 3 to 4 cashiers they can cut cause of this they can hire 1 mofo to sit and watch cameras.niggas gonna be peeling the barcodes off and throwin shit in the basket.

Sure they do. Even with the self scan and go at Sam's they still do a check before you walk outI was about to ask...
Does anyone CONFIRM and check your cart before you leave?
Sure they do. Even with the self scan and go at Sam's they still do a check before you walk out
They already have robots that scan barcodes, check inventory, etc.. so no more jobs won’t be hired.. them 5 cashiers will be reduced to 2 or 3 people to handle those carts.. so less jobs and probably a job demotion with less pay… saying you a cashier would easily be seen as more important than a cart handler.. which means you can pay less to individuals doing that position.. hell get a bunch of Mexicans to do that for the low lowthey are going to hire less cashiers, but they are going to
have to hire, more cart handlers and bar code adjusters, for the many times
prices will change, due to price adjustments....
everytime they try to phase out a job, there will be one to take its place....
the people who NEED to worry are Accountants and some lawyers....
AI is going to make it easy as fuck to balance books and to Fetch various legal forms
and to help you fill them out, file them yourself......
and they havent unleashed the REAL AI yet..... we got the watered down, censored version...
they do NOT plan on releasing TRUE A.I, what they are afraid of is, A.I making itself available
for global use..
Real AI will give you step by step instructions on how to produce free electricity... make car engines
that can run on sea water...etc..
they already fucked up with 3d printing and folks making their own untraceable guns..
WIth Unfiltered uncensored AI.... the powers that shouldnt be, will NOT be very long...

I could be wrong but this looks to be NFC or RFID tags accompanied with a compatible POS system, mounted to the cart and connected to WiFi. Great use of technology and I wish that it was more prevalent. Those damn lines in Walmart/Target could be eliminated.Prime example of A.I. replacing people.
This is what the Amazon store basically is
How does it work? Do all the price tags have something readable electronically embedded in them?

I know all about the process that some jobs were created making that shit.. but at the end of the day it’s thousands maybe 5 figs or more supermarkets/ retail stores across the nation that have multiple employees in them.. these carts will eliminate thousands to maybe ten thousands of jobs across the nation.. there won’t be more jobs created making this than lost.. big biz dosent pay more to get rid of less.. they willing to pay a couple hundred thousand to save 10s of millions( aka daily employees)Someone had to design that cart, help assemble it, deliver sales pitches ,develop the software/firmware, run focus groups, fix the carts when they break, come up with updates, diagnostics/troubleshoot, customer service etc...
Low level unskilled work done by one person is being eliminated, but that cart in it's development and ongoing maintenance created Many new positions. People were once highly resistant to the horse and carriage also.
