There actually life at 36,0000 feet underwater!?!?!??

How the hell is that possible? The pressure should eliminate anything w/ a backbone.

Edit: At the bottom of the trench, the water column above exerts a pressure of 1,086 bar (15,750 psi), more than 1,071 times the standard atmospheric pressure at sea level.

The crew of that Titan submersible should be seeing plenty of life down there..while taking the last breaths of theirs..

Just so you all dont think I'm talkin out my ass:

The Challenger Deep, the deepest point on the entire seafloor, lies in the Mariana Trench off the coast of the Pacific Ocean’s Mariana Islands. It is nearly 36,000 feet—7.8 miles—below the ocean’s surface. If you were to stand at this remarkable depth, the column of water above your head would exert 1000 times the amount of pressure you normally experience at the surface, crushing you instantly.

Even in this extreme environment, though, organisms can survive. One type, it turns out, can even prosper: bacteria. A new study, published today in Nature Geoscience, finds that unexpectedly abundant bacteria communities grow in the depths of the Mariana Trench, with organisms living at densities ten times greater than in the much shallower ocean floor at the trench’s rim.

i've read that there are thousands of species unknown in the pacific ocean. a company trying to get the paperwork to excavate the ocean floor for precious metals for electric cars. environmentalists like nahhhh....hold on buddy

Actually life came from outer space hitched on a comet that crashed here

So you are saying.......Life can travel millions, billions or even trillions of miles on a rock without food or water, survive the vacuum of space, radiation, temperatures in space and entering the atmosphere and survive the impact. But you are amazed life is in the ocean at all depths.

The origin of life that came on an asteroid isn’t intelligent life sitting on the rock having a sandwhich

Of course there’s life down there, everythang ain’t dead at the bottom of the ocean.

Just because scientists haven’t discovered it doesn’t mean it’s not there.
You must forgive OP..... if NatGeo had fat assed Asians as host, he would've already known...... shit, they got shit living around hot ass thermal vents in the ocean floor living offa the toxic gasses spewing out that would kill anything else

.

while on this topic....humans definitely will never be able to know how deep the ocean is without a very capable and a very well thought out plan or cabin like a submarine (we know this one failed). The deeper you go the pressure on your lungs.
Check out the Audrey Mestre story who tragically died at 530 feet in deep sea.

Every thread and post you create is DUMB. No joke.
I guess you say that is popular but it does not mean that the post are not right or anything. We all were born black in a white man's world. Some of us just have to be carbon copies to be seen a certain way. Some of us what is natural fights harder.
Thanks for you opinion though.

Exactly my point. DUMB.
