That was one of the best animated DC movies I've ever seen.
It blew me away. I was like "DC got this animated thing on lock now!" after seeing it.

Saw it on internet special. It wasn't nearly as bad as some cats in here are making it out to be. Wasn't great either. It was alright. On the internet, either something is amazing or it's terrible. It is what is.
It was on par with the latest Marvel releases, none of which were great either.
Super hero movies may be burning out as studios churn out formulas and not great movies. As a long time comic fan, I hope not.

Saw the movie yesterday. Seeing mixed reviews online. Overall I enjoyed it. I was excited for Michael Keaton returning and they delivered. I would have changed how he was introduced being a hermit of sorts. I think just having him be retired with Vicky Vale or even talking about how the 1 woman that got away in Cat Woman. Erza Miller may be a terrible person but he's a talented actor. Playing his younger self while also being the mentor in the movie worked well.
The Bad was the terrible CGI decisions. The baby hospital scenes sucked. They should have done something similar to Quick Silver scenes I'm X-men. There were some nice call back moments like Nick Cage being casted as Burtons Superman film.
It's probably best to recast Erza Miller now. Gunn said he wants to do a hard reboot then no one from previous projects should be returning.

I enjoyed it, nerds take all this shit way to seriously and need to touch grass. It was great seeing Keaton in the cowl, made me wish for a new og batman movie. Liked the way batman moved and used gadgets , can see why they're putting the director on the new batman movie.
Enjoyed Sasha calle as supergirl

Wish there was more of her, read they cut some of the fight with zod for too much violence and fear of getting an r rating(it'll be nice if they include it in a directors cut)
I thought it was the best Ezra has been as the flash, he's still not ideal but the current day barry that was calmer and less goofy was an improvement. I liked that they poked fun of his portrayal in the older movies and how annoying barry can be, also liked them making fun of his run.
Cgi could have used work but most modern movies not named avatar have been going either cheap rushed cgi or that bullshit mandalorian lcd unreal engine tech so maybe I'm getting use to movies looking like shit lol

IMO, snyder made the best movies dc movies when his vision went to the screen untouched.
the trash movies were the ones the studio execs barfed all over.

To me man of steel was terrible, and Batman vs Superman was a travesty, Those movies were his vision and he's never said otherwise. The movie that had studio interference was justice league and yeah after several years of time to reflect and extra cash he was able to make a decent flick out of justice league, but still just slightly above mediocre. Imo the first wonder woman was still a better overall movie than anything Zack did in DC and the flash is also better, overall the dceu was a giant mess lol But to each their own.
I call him hack Snyder but I'm not a hater, I enjoyed most of watchmen, dawn of the dead(written by James Gunn) legend of the guardians and even sucker punch. 300 was okay but he just never got superman as a character imo. I'm glad we're finally getting new filmmakers for DC and getting away from the zack era.
Also we're talking dceu right? Because let's not bring Nolan/burton into the Convo as far as best of DC. Then Zack really looks bad lol

No man of steel wasn't exactly Snyder's vision. It was what Nolan's production company wanted in a superman movie. They wanted a batman begins type story where Clark Kent roams the earth finding himself before he becomes superman. Bvs wasn't Snyder's intent. Transformers flooped also. I think it's because both movies went up against spider verse. They should've dropped those movies a month later.

I was extra hype cause my boy zod was back and he literally was in this bitch for like 20 mins.. the opening scene pure garbage shit was more cheesier than the 1960 Batman show. If you would’ve said this was made by Sony films I would believe cgi was garbage. Good to see Keaton bad to see him in this flick.. forgettable at best
Both these movies have garbage previous connected films.. transformers series pretty much garbage and most dc flicks have missed I guess this summer nigs like I’m not wasting my money anymore. Inflation killed all the people that didn’t care about taking an l on a shitty movie. The biggest problem with this flick is already showed us all the major scenes before this movie dropped which is a problem with a lot of super heroes movies . They need to follow Lucas films example with their star wars trailers. They show so little that you barely know the plot. With these super hero trailers you look at them and say I know how this is gonna go. The other problem is fan speculation. Geek culture is a problem and people care more about cameos and what the set up for the next movie is than the actual movie. They spoil the hell out of the movie before it even drops. That's another thing that made guardians of the Galaxy 3 so good because of the misdirection. Everybody just knew somebody was gonna die, James Gunn said "sike!"

i think them promoting batman in the flick spoiled the surprise. if spiderman nwh promoted that toby and andrew spideys would be in the flick prior to release it would of took away the the surprise.
