{~}Official 2022-2023 NBA Thread - it’s that time again, this thread coming to a end

Can't find a clip the pregame show from yesterday, but here's a vid of the audio(timestamped).

In total agreement with SAS on this one. He's been consistent in questioning the Celtics handling of the Udoka situation, and everyone has been hush hush about the whole thing or acting like it wasn't a big deal.

Fuck the Celtics and their weirdo, passive aggressive, in way over head his head HC.

Fuck Smart, Brown, and Taytum too. They some bitch ass niggas as well.

/carry on

*EDIT -Forgot to embed the clip

Bullshit stat.

1. 8 of those losses came against a 73 win team with KD added on.
2. 4 of those losses were with Matthew Dellavedova as his second option.
3. 3 of those losses were the year the Lakers won the championship
4. 7 of those losses came when the Cavs/Heat won the championship
5. 4 of those losses came at the age of 36
6. 8 of those losses came this year at 38 fucking years old
7. 4 of those losses were with Drew Gooden and Daniel Gibson as his second and third options at the age of 22

That's 38 out of the 46 losses.

Thank you for doing the research, because I'm tired of these niggas coming through with their bullshit posts with empty takes and hollow misleading stats like

I gave you his win/loss record and you gave me more excuses than a hooker in church. My mother doesn't defend me like you guys do LeBron, goddamn.

"But a lot of those losses were against good teams! The Warriors had KD!" GTFOH. His record is what it is. "4 of those losses came at the age of 36." Most preposterous shit ever.

If your mother doesn't defend you like that it's because she knows that you fell of shit...

Too.

And are people defending Lebron or are they simply telling you to cut the bullshit?

But hey do you and continue to

And I'm personally waiting for one of you to explain all of your dislike for him simply because he didn't tell you when he was cumming when you were sucking his dick.
I don't dislike the motherfucker! But this "LeBron is the way and the only way" shit you worshippers do makes any objective person into a hater!

He has lost against the west more than he has won, saying all his losses after 35 don't count and going to such lengths in applying asterisks to all his losses is the silliest shit I have seen in this thread.

Lebron, a great player. Not the greatest but a great player.

I don't worship him or any player. But if one spews bullshit which many do, that bullshit gets corrected.

And somehow the correcting of one's bullshit is seen as extreme fandom.

Weird world we live in.

Which is the true statement?

A) LeBron is 40-46 against the west in the playoffs.

B) LeBron is 40-8 against the west in the playoffs.

I think LeBron's finals record is more impressive than Jordan's-- All those finals losses are clearly superior seasons to the ones where Jordan didn't make it at all. 6-0 might be the most overrated stat in NBA history. I'm so far from an irrational LeBron hater. But if you're going to apply asterisks to legitimate losses, that's some "January 6th was a beautiful day when tourists enjoyed the sights" self-delusion that I can't argue against.

Nah my dude, he wasn't just 36, AD got hurt that series like he always does, so LeBron was out there by himself.

Bottom line, people talk shit about LeBron because he can't do it alone knowing full well that Jordan, Kobe, Magic, etc weren't alone.

Notice I didn't mention his loses in 2011 and 2014, he had help so I can't defend those.

Name one star that won a championship with ZERO help.

Name one player who was over 35 who was expected to lead his team in PPG? When Kareem did it in the '85 Finals he had the showtime Lakers, and didn't play the minutes that LeBron played against Denver.

It's not excuses to point out the fact that you want him to do what no one else has done.

According to Bill Simmons there are more Kobe jerseys at Laker playoff games than #23 by a wide margin...

Those true colors are starting to show.

Both things can be true. He can be a breath of fresh air against SAS and the relic MadDog, AND he can be an annoying arrogant know-it-all cac.

I caught a little First Take on the DVR, just a little bit of it. Heard Stephen A Smith dogging out D'Angelo Russell. I have never heard JJ disrespect a player like that. That's arrogant. And beyond annoying. Especially coming from a know-nothing, has done-nothing (with regard to basketball).
