Coattail riders are just "yes men". They don't question anything because they fear it'll get them ostracized.Naw. Nobody is at fault but Ja here. All these young folks live 4 social media. Coattail guy is just living his best life vibing with his dawg that happens to be hella famous so of course he wants to "do it 4 the gram." Absolutely nothing wrong with that cause again that's what all the folks that are doing. Only issue is when super gangsta decides he needs to pull out the gun.
Worse than that he thinks this is ok if you are from the hood.
It’s business.
Getting in shoot outs and constantly having to worry about someone killing you, wasn't something that I looked at and thought, "oh the fun they must have."Exactly! I’m from the hood and I have good sense. Sense enough to not do ignorant dumb shit. I hate that fools like these clowns “define” what being from the “hood” is. There are a lot of good upstanding people, who care about their communities that live in the hood too! And we’re sick of these damn fools too. I’m sick of black peoples celebrating the most low, destructive versions of ourselves, like that shit is cool. For males it’s the “gangster” hood shit and for women, it’s the ratchet hood rat shit. I never thought that shit was cool, even as a shorty growing up in the hood. We got to stop letting these clowns represent the culture.
Bruh it wasn’t nothing like getting out on Friday night at the Park on 14th. Not knowing who you was going to meet or go home with.
Now it’s like this
you can't reach out to someone who won't answer the phone.....Not once have I heard any of these OG;s say they are going to reach out to him. That's what he needs.......
Like his dad should hire someone like Eric Thomas to talk to him and be around him this whole entire offseason....
Exactly! Well said!!Getting in shoot outs and constantly having to worry about someone killing you, wasn't something that I looked at and thought, "oh the fun they must have."
You don't make any money being a goon. What's the point of putting your life on the line, and you can't afford wagyu.
Something about the white man coming to the defense of us black people. Man stay out of black people’s business.

It's not even about breaking the law, but let him cook!

Totally agree because the NFL don't play that shit. This is a case of layers needing to be peeled back.
Ja Morant is a young player, with a fun marketable style of gameplay who should be preparing to make gobs of money, especially as LeBron is aging out (this is not a knock on LeBron but he's 38 and 20 years in, he's closer to the end than to the beginning) and Ja could be a very fun, face of the league but he's throwing it away because he's doing stupid shit that would make brands not want to work with him and might make teams apprehensive about signing him to huge contracts.
Like I said in the other thread, if he was in the NFL, he'd be getting released.
Rhetorical? What law did JA break? How come the NRA and Marjorie Taylor Green are not out there defending him?
Well he's not their people, so they don't give a fuck. What law did JA break? How come the NRA and Marjorie Taylor Green are not out there defending him?
Calling Ja a Moron is just dumb. Yes, his actions were dumb asf but to say he is a Moron and Dumb is not what OG's like Stephen Jackson should be saying.
Not once have I heard any of these OG;s say they are going to reach out to him. That's what he needs...
Jay Williams made a good point this morning and said he needs like a life coach or like a mentor beside him for the next several months on top of talking to a licensed therapist.

Iverson been to prison as well, also went to jail for carrying a gun but got bailed out.I said this the first time it happened, but I suggested that he go hang out with Allen iverson, because they play the same and AI went through some things before he came in the league...he's seen friends die because of gun violence
