I think it's because most people think that one's life and career are supposed to be a progression to bigger and better things. Or at least we want it to be. The argument could be made that working at Target IS a come-up of sorts. Look... I don't like it when people equate porn stars to prostitutes because there IS a significant difference. But if you want to be reductionist about it, both are essentially about having sex for money. Hey man, I agree getting ass fucked on film ain't usually a great career move for nobody. But if these chicks do find that they make the decision to do so they need to figure out how to leverage that into more than a low paying job in my opinion.
