Can’t imagine her on a construction site around those men all day lol

The trippy part to me is that adult stars like her reached a level of fame and notoriety, but have to go back to a regular job. She probably don’t care, but if any artist or star were to do that we’d automatically say they fell off

A porn stars celebrity isn't the same as a mainstream entertainers celebrity. Yeah there's fame and they have fans but their work isn't no different than the average person's job because the pay range is the same they only make money I'f they work the strip club circuit and escort on the side or if they start their own brand or company and work behind the camera instead of Infront of the camera like pinky , Julian st jox etc.

It's kinda like that fine ass fat booty redbone that was on The Parkers back in the day that played Professor Ogilvie's girlfriend. I think her name was Veronica on the show and Paulette Braxton in real life. I used to think she was related to Toni Braxton but I don't think she was. Man, that bitch was fine.

I saw a video or something where it looked like she was a cleaning lady or something at a hospital in Texas or somewhere now. Maybe she wasn't a cleaning lady but it was some kind of nondescript job. You could kind of tell that having people recognize her is kinda hard for her. You can see it in her eyes and the way she carries herself that her career didn't turn out as well as she planned. The fall off was real. That bitch was fine though.

I'm not sure. If I recall correctly some dude that she worked with at the hospital posted it on social media.

Here she is though. She was still kinda a cutie.

I'm pretty sure this is her. This says back in 2015 she was making less than $30k a year. I mean that was almost 10 years ago but still.

She probably didn't make too much more than $30K a year when she was on The Parkers too. Don't assume she "fell off" when there's no real indication that she was ever really "ON" to begin with, y'know?

You think that's all she was making on The Parkers? I don't know man. But I don't anything about Hollywood. But even if she was that was 20+ years ago as opposed to less than 10. I mean I get that Texas is cheap compared to LA but damn. Plus she was a legit actress. To go from sitcom actress to hospital lady seems like a fall off to me.

This wasn't the video I remember seeing. The one I remember she was at the hospital and her coworker was recording.

The problem is that in our society we put the notion of celebrity on such a pedestal that we think of it almost like attaining godhood. There are a few actors who do achieve massive stardom and become something close to gods in our world... but that is a very small percentage. For the vast majority of actors, acting is just a job. A grind no different from driving a city bus... except that the bus driver has health insurance, pension, benefits and doesn't have a manager and an agent taking like 15% of their check, plus a nutritionist, a stylist, a physical trainer, dealing with sexual harassment and exploitation as a normal part of work, etc.

Very few actors are able to survive solely on their acting work, including actors you frequently see on tv. Remember that time everybody made this big deal about Elvin from the Cosby Show getting caught working at Whole Foods? Look at his IMDB page... it's not like he gave up acting. He's working pretty regularly on tv and yet he still gotta grab a side gig to make ends meet.

This lady wasn't on the main cast of "Friends" or "Seinfeld"... She was a recurring character on a black sitcom on UPN. IMDB says she did 13 episodes of The Parkers. I really doubt she was rolling in the dough. For actors on that level, it's really feast and famine. You might get a job on a few episodes of a sitcom and make $50k... and then you don't work again for a year and a half. Like, you'd be surprised how many actors would absolutely love to get a good job in a hospital where you got some kind of stability.

So I say... don't cry for her, Argentina. I'm sure she's fine. And she seems to be happy.

I had a huge thing for her starting with when she was on in the house.

Yeah. I remember I read that the dude that played Alderman Davis on Good Times and Cousin Grady on Sanford & Son worked some kind of unexpected straight job the entire time he was on those 1970s Black TV shows.

I hear what you're saying about Ms. Braxton but I can't help but feel like her hospital gig is a bit of a letdown. I mean, it surprised the hell out of me. I don't know what she intended for her life but if that was it, well, I guess more power to her. It's just that as fine as she was, it seems like her potential was much greater than that. But we all choose different journeys and paths I guess.
