There's a SNOWFALL discussion group on Facebook and somehow they came up with Veronique didn't get all the money she left Franklin a 100k so the fact he didn't use that 100k to start over proves he had gone insane

I have a question for those who watched the entire show from Season 1 thru 6...If Saint belonged to a different ethnic group, would the outcome be the same and why? For instance, say Franklin was Mexican and the show took place in the worst neighborhood in the U.S. that has a majority of mexican residents. Would the outcome be the same? How about if Franklin was Chinese and the show took place in the China Town of any major city (since many big cities have a section for Chinese only)? What about Italian and the show took place in South Philly?

teddy was sipping the kool aid. believing he was helping his country. it took franklin scolding his ass with cooking oil to admit he felt superior to franklin and was hating.
Basing my knowledge of the Mexican drug scene off of the show Narcos. I think if they were Mexican, Franklin and his whole crew probably would have turned on each other or killed by a rival cartel by season 3. They were ruthless.
I don't know much about Chinese-American gang culture. I know it exists, but they stay pretty under the public radar.

teddy was going to keep the money from them or use it to buy his way back into their good graces...If thats the case then the money really didn't mean anything to the CIA who had cut teddy loose..
So franklins mom could have waited ten seconds and killed teddy anyway.
To @Mrfreddygoodbud point theres a number of NQRs in the storytelling and thats a big one. Also franklin becoming an alcoholic in the manner he did felt really rushed and sudden. It almost like they didn't know this season was going to be last one becuz if they did then they should have introduced that element in the last season or even the one before it in slow small ways so that by the time we get the last few episodes he'd already been drinking more and more.
In an alternate ending they could have let him have the 37 million but because of all the trauma and killing...franklin becomes paraniod that the CIA is out to get him and anytime he suffers a set back in business he swears its the govt fucking with him even tho its clear to his wife that its not and thats what drives her away and she takes half his money in the exit and franklin just drives himself in the ground because of his paranoia and personal demons. He;s a man who can't find peace even in the middle of plenty. That's his punishment for all the death and mayhem he had a part in.

My only critique is that Teddy's plan was to take Franklyn's money and kill him from the start but he didn't kill him. Franklyn knew way too much so leaving him alive seem unlike Teddy, especially after he stole the money, did he think Franklyn was just going to disappear and get a job at Target? I think everyone saw Franklyn's baby mother stealing his money and running from a mile away.

In retrospect, how did you manage to save and safeguard 70 million dollars? You cannot deposit it in a bank because the government will seize it. You cannot keep everything in a closed storehouse safe because someone will eventually locate it. How would you keep your money safe from the authorities and your adversaries?
