Snitch cuture. I wondered what the purpose of this is?

I hope white folks show the coke mountains and beer rivers they went thru during spring break.

Freaknic was wild for black people but Mardi Gras and Spring Break still go strong and can be way worse.

BTW Freaknic only went hard 94-97 and in 1997 they were shutting shit down. By 2000 that shit was a Myth.

Plenty of spring break documentaries out there already. And there's at least two docs on the disastrous Woodstock 99 where cacs raped a lot of women.

Why shouldn't there be a doc on Freaknik?

Bruhh.. Alotta mama's, daddy's, freaky aunties, dirty uncles, hell..even some G-ma's and G-pa's about to get exposed!
If I walk in the room and see my daughter has that shit on, I'm turning off the power to whole damn house!

My uncle was at Woodstock.

These young MFers to dumb and ignorant to have shit like that. If they want to see freaknik, throw it themselves.

Why we gotta do what white people do.?Why Iwe gotta have dem low standards? Some cultures can leave silly shit like that in the past, why can we.

I don't have shit to hide, the shit was kind of tame compared to other shit i did or witnessed . ATL was cool but other than random nudes wasn't much going on in the streets.

Most people never made it to a club let alone a mall. It was random ass fuck. I wont say what parties were better because the teathers gone teather.

Most the dudes makeing jokes probably didn't even go to the shit. I dont see Roy Wood or David Alan Grier as dudes who were young enough to go.

If I was on footage from thirty years ago without my permission, Im knocking every last tooth out a MFer mouth. If they are doing it to make me look bad 30 years later for no other reason than to make profit.

When the kids see that this is PG shit compared to the Onlyfans generation that thinks going raw in sex workers is what the cool kids do to stay cool. Yeah people partied in the streets, but I was lame compared to Bike Week in Miami, where you got girls making out like it at shit. People selling enough sex to keep entire areas filled with condos filled with sex workers.

Don't get me started that these weridos would get mad the rainbow crowd wasn't represented. Glad its gone. Just think of the fuck shit this generation would be on.

It was black people around from all around the country and you RARELY saw any violence and I can't recall any gun play most years if any.

Fast forward to 2023 and lame shit like SXSW can get shot up and have multiple fights.

BS world we live in.

I'm seeing everyone saying moms, aunts, & grandmothers are going have to do some explaining. Shit, dads & uncles are going to have to as well. Cats were straight up ripping chicks' clothes off while they were crying and screaming. My crew pulled a few chicks out of some bad situations.
Man I already know the dirt my dad did. Sky’s the limit. But it hit different when it’s your mom or your aunts…..shit it’s gonna be some grannies too. My kids grandma 52 she never us as hell lol.

I believe I can tell how this doc is going to be framed, because of the social media angle that are being pushed, but I'll keep my comments to myself. I can almost guarantee the day after this doc drops, the whole energy of this thread is going to be all different. Every documentarian has an agenda or an angle. That Woodstock 99 documentary focused more on the corporatization of the event and the ineptitude of the guys running the show. Yeah they brought up sexual assault but it was very briefly, one story, and at the end of the doc. I'm curious to see what the directors angle is going to be for this freaknik doc. I'll remain Hopefully optimistic it'll be more about it's creation and cultural impact. Not just stories of roving bands of savages raping and pillaging downtown Atlanta.

Hella docs on Woodstock when Hendrix and Joplin were playing. In 7th grade they showed us a doc on rock and roll history and I saw non clean looking people, drugged out, hugging, and kissing each other, etc. Based on what my teachers were saying, ain’t no way Freaknik tops what they were doing in the 70s.

If you wasn't off the porch when this was poppin STFU. Watch the Doc, Realize it was a different time, recognize the negative but try not to be all judgemental. Every woman there was not a victim. Social norms were different. Not excusing bad behavior, but trying to view past events through a present lens is counterproductive. Some of these new niggas are looking for any reason to thumb their noses at past generations, like they have some sort of moral high ground. Shit is arrogant and annoying.
