Bullshit. A pile driver is a wrestling move. Big E’s injury was an accident. This spot was negligence. There was no need to do this spot other than to pop the crowd for a quick ten seconds, Penta had the belts right there in his hands and instead decides to do a Canadian destroyer off a ladder onto two sets of tables outside the ring? TK needs to stop encouraging this shit. Sloppy shop for real.
 
I watched this week show of AEW Dynamite!!..It was ok!!....I like the Kenny Omega vs Jeff Cobb match!!..I knew that Danielson was going to turn on Omega when he got in the ring!!..The Blackpool Combat Club is kicking everyone asses in AEW!!..lol.....That MJF and Jungle Boy segment was good!!...

It was a ok show!!

The wrestlers wanted to do that spot. It was structured into the match. The spot didn't go as planned and resulted in a injury therefore it was an accident. The whole style of Lucha Libre is to be flashy and pop the crowd. It involves a lot of risky high spots.That's the whole point. It has zero to do with negligence and more to do with your ignorance.

Exactly. The Big E injury, like the Austin injury he mentioned above were accidents that happened. Same thing with Droz/DLo Brown.

Here we go with that narrow minded, one size fits all WWE way of thinking again. Not every move done in a Lucha Libre style match is suppose to advance a story. That's what you guys don't seem to understand. Spotfests is what Lucha Libre is. It's suppose to pop the crowd. They do this shit all the time in Mexico. Sometimes accidents happen.

Whether a spot that results in injury advances a story or not is irrelevant. Different styles emphasize different things.
 
From clotheslines to 450 splashes, you can get hurt doing any wrestling move. It doesn't matter what style, what organization, what intention - accidents happen.

And it's just weird as fuck that y'all are using injuries to fuel your biases and tribalism.

The beautiful thing about wrestling is the various styles from strong style to technical wrestling to lucha libre,etc. To say that anyone who doesn't like the flippy shit is some WWE fanboy is ridiculous when they have some of this too but it isn't done to a ridiculous degree where a highspot is done a mile a minute often thru furniture in the majority of the matches. A canadian destroyer is extremely dangerous, one off the top rope even more so. A canadian destroyer off of the top rope not the turnbuckle onto to tables that are supposed to break onto the floor(not the ring which is better cushioned than the floor) 10 feet below is reckless and/or stupid. Hell Fenix got his arm broken this time last year doing something from the ring to the floor involving a table that wasn't even a quarter as dangerous as the spot last night.

Actually it does matter. It's one thing to try to advance a story and another to do something just for the sake of doing something. Don't you like Kenny Omega matches because many of them particularly vs Okada harken back to previous spots and matches as a form of storytelling?
 
Don't know if anyone is watching (or even noticed) that NXT Stand and Deliver is on but it's been ok so far. Glad they are giving Indi a shot at holding the women's title.

For the tag title match I thought it was funny that Booker T legit didn't seem to know who the person was that interfered and needed an explanation :lol:

There was NEVER a golden rule of what Professional wrestling should look like or be. There were ALWAYS different styles of wrestling. That's why I never held a tribal mindset that wrestling should be a certain way. Rather I appreciate the different styles. If wrestling was all one way it would be boring.

As I explained in a previous post to @EPDC in Lucha Libre not all moves in a match are done to advance a story. Some spots are done to get a reaction from the crowd then when they're ready they'll do a spot that advances the story.

Don't you like Kenny Omega matches because many of them particularly vs Okada harken back to previous spots and matches as a form of storytelling?

That's a different style. The philosophy is completely different. I wouldn't judge a Japanese strong style match using the guidelines of Lucha Libre and vise versa. Each style should be judged within it's own perimeters.
 
Stop doing dumb shit....don't do shit you don't know how to do! If i'm the booker you on a PPV be safe outthere, if you fuck my product up im sending you to developmental after the injury heals, so you can learn the basics from a veteran trainer/coach.
 
Cena/Theory match wasn't very good and did nothing to elevate Theory with that finish. If that's all Cena is gonna do he might as well never leave Hollywood.
