Killing yourself is one thing, having someone bear the burden and guilt of killing yourself just because you are too scared to do it yourself is another thing.
Sounds to me like your thought process at this time isn't rational, and for that, you really need to get the help you need before you make the worst mistake you can possibly make. Likes several members said, wait a few days, clear your head, and even get some therapy, trust me these are all words of wisdom that will help you plenty.

Here’s a suggestion: if someone is appearing to be desperate and in need of help, be a fellow human and offer some help. Marginalizing them is probably not helpful. It’s downright counterproductive.
The only reason we try to convince people not to kill themselves is we mistakenly believe our lives are important or precious which they aren't. In the grand scheme of things in one reality he may have already popped the cop. So really who cares. I truly believe if you have the power over anything it's the power to choose to live. If you don't want to who am I to convince you otherwise. It's literally YOUR life. You can do with it what you choose. And honestly it's only going to affect your love ones for a short period of time.
I hope this doesn't inspire anyone to commit suicide because that wasn't the intent. I love life because I am having a lot of fun. BUt I can understand pressing game over if you aren't.

I saw some ill shit in my days on Chef Hwy. Saw my first dead body, dude got smoked at that Strip Club that used to be right off the bridge. And saw a hooker walking fully naked down Chef when I was coming home from work.
But there was a place called "We Never Close" on Chef, po-boys was slammin! And Captain Seafood was fucking dangerous. You could get fried chicken, red beans and rice w sausage, boiled crawfish and boiled shrimp for $20.

Only recent article I could find in the New Orleans area and looks to be unrelated as the time stamps don’t quite match up.

There were 3 different major violent events down there in the last 48 or so hours...one of them may have triggered this.
