In regard to "in ring" I would say so but not in gimmick/character work. It's hard to compare different eras though. Flair was great in his era. The same with HBK. Omega vs. HBK in his prime would easily be a 6 star match.

I watch this week of AEW Dynamite and it was good!!...The Buddy Matthews vs Darby Allin match was good and that Danielson vs Cage match was good as well..I like the last match with Mark Briscoe vs Jay Lethal..It was real good as well...I like the tribute to Jay Briscoe!!..

The crowd was packed once again!!

Overall, It was a good show..

Any predictions for the Royal Rumble? The obvious choices are Rhea and Cody so I'll pick the final four just to make it more interesting.

Men
Cody, Brock, Lashley, Seth
Final 2 are Cody and Seth to relive last year
Brock and Lashley go over the ropes at the same time

Women
Rhea, Bayley, Naomi, Liv
Final 2 are Rhea and Liv (playing up on her being entrant 1)
And I know Naomi being featured in the final 4 is a stretch. They gotta punish her somehow. She might just be the person who gets put out within seconds :smh:

Wouldn't mind seeing the Rock but that's not happening.

Men's Rumble is the first match. That answers that. No Rock. Not a chance. No way they would not have saved that til the end of the show

Triple H: Okay Book we're gonna put you in the Rumble for nostalgia purposes. Will let you get a couple moves of offense then do your spinarone then Gunther will eliminate you.

Booker T: Okay boss.
LMBAO. yo dude knows which side of the bread is buttered. He’s a company man. I ain’t mad at him. Let him make that money. For 3 min of work I bet his paycheck is more than we’d make in a 5 years.

I think announcing all the competitors ahead of time really took a little steam out of the Rumble. They should always keep that a surprise. Also Cody being #30 was predictable. I did like the drama between Cody and Gunther at the end there. So it looks like Cody got what he wanted. He left AEW to become the WWE Universal Champion and it looks like it's going to happen. He's gonna be the one to dethrone Roman.

They were in Texas so Booker probably had family in the crowd. They let him come out to his home town pop, do a spinarone, and get eliminated by a current star. No hate. At least that was the only legend/joke entrant.

I like what they did with Gunther. He looked very strong even with losing at the end. Starting off and number 1 and being eliminated last, I expect him to be challenging for the top title by the end of this year, perhaps against Cody.

Cool visuals but the over sponsored Mountain Dew shit is taking me out of this match.

And crap like this is why I've been over Bray Wyatt for some time now. At least this is better than the last year of The Fiend crap. Can't say that he isn't smart cause this plays into all the fantasies of the wannabe Hollywood writers that the WWE employs. So creative will never not have anything for him to do no matter how corny or B movie ish it may be
