Wonder if Miro & Aldrade still want out now.

WWE bought WCW in what was basically one day.….lolz

I get what you’re saying but an agreement on paper indicates a deal is happening and the Saudis got the money to move shit quickly.

But yeah, looks like wrestling twitter and the dirt sheet writers and readers….and the BGOL wrestling crew got played…..

I wouldn't say I got played because I prefaced what I said on the WWE Saudi sale story with the words "IF TRUE". A lot of credible dirt cheap journalist used the word "UNCONFIRMED".

this sucks for wrestling in general, the future of the WWE and their fans (including me)
but looking forward to having more free time and cutting back on my wrestling intake

WWE went from being trash to finally being a decent tv product with constienst story telling to a burning pile of trash

Like I was really getting hyped that we might see the Hurt Business getting back together!

No, WWE did not buy WCW in a day. It didn't take months, but it also didn't happen in a day or two.
Plus, by then WWE was pretty much just buying the WCW video library and their IP.
WCW had no TV deal at the time, which is what ultimately killed them.
Big difference here.

The Good And Bad of Dynamite...

The Good
Hangman Page vs. Jon Moxley (Hard hitting banger. Hangman beats Moxley clean. I think Moxley is about to take some time off.)

Adam Cole return

Lee Moriarty And Big Bill vs. Jungle Boy & Hook (This was decent.)

MJF segment (Absolute Gold)

Bryan Danielson vs. Konosuke Takeshita (Nice strong style match. Banger!)

Excalibur and Taz mentioning Kenny's match against Ospreay at Wrestle Kingdom 17.

The Elite vs. Death Triangle (Excellent. This whole series ended up being pretty good after initially I thought I would be bored by match 4. The Elite are the new Trios champs.)

The Bad

Toni Storm & Saraya vs. Britt Baker & Jamie Hayter (Britt and Saraya dragged this match down with their sloppy work. Meh.)

No Mercedes Mone appearance

Jericho Appreciation Society segment (Ran too long. Felt like filler)

Overall another good show. I'm curious as to what went wrong with the lack of Mercedes.

Everything basically happened within a few days regarding WCW. The announcement of their purchase was made the same day Shane McMahon showed up on Nitro. Of course the finalization of the deal had to take place but it all happened fast for WCW

I know you're not a fan of Adam Cole but damn bruh.

I'm glad he's back.

I know someone made money. Running from around 68 to 92 probably got a lot of folks out of being in the red. That's if they sold or lucked and had some calls.

I wouldn't mind buying the shirt if she came with it.

Lola Vice >>> Tay Melo

That's a tough one for me. I probably would give the edge to Tay because she seems like a fun down to earth chick who's going to ride or die for you whereas Lola/Valerie has this stuck up, high maintenance vibe about her that I don't like. Now obviously I don't know either woman personally I'm just going off of the social media perception that both women give off.

People crying in the comments that Mercedes/KAIRI should main event the show instead of Okada. If I were booking it I would have Mercedes/KAIRI main event it because the show sold out on the strength of that match but traditionally Gedo has always had the IWGP World Champion main event the show.

Pay no attention to them. The diva stans/women supporters are the worst fanbase in the IWC.

Ehh, I think this was going to sell out regardless

I like women wrestlers what can I say Im a perv I like the jiggle and movement. The skill set has definitely improved since the days of the fabulous moolah and Wendy Richter. I even watched GLOW.

I likes the Wrestlemania match between Sasha vs Bianca.
I am more invested in Black Wrestlers

LPWA was the promotion in the early 90s

In the article it said Tony and his father would have to find another financial partner to be able to buy WWE. I don't think it's going to happen but man oh man would that be something.

I don't think Vince would sell to him. But TK started off as a super prowrestling fan then rising to the top and standing alone over the prowrestling business. That's some Hollywood magic shir.
