One the women got in her feeling about it(MEG) and decided to use that as an excuse to shit on his career. He took exception to it. At some point all three begin to argue. With his anger mostly being directed toward Meg. He pulls out a gun and tells the "bitch to dance" while firing shots.

You have eye witnesses see the man shooting the gun. The bff tells the cops in a recorded interview that Tory shot the gun. The bff sends a text saying he shot the gun. And Tory very apologetic about something that happened that night. Never says what though.

The jury decided he was guilty based on that. Meg said he shot her. Thee bff said he shot Meg. She didn't shoot herself, so those two were the only ones who could've done it. No one ever puts the gun in Kelseys, other than the defense trying to save Tory.

The witness who lived on the block claimed he saw Meg and Kelsey fighting. He saw Kelsey fire three shoots. Then he sees Tory fire two shoots. This would put the gun in her possession. Both Tory and Kelsey were said to have gun powder on them.

Meg while intoxicated says she heard Tory say dance bitch dance turns around and I'm assuming sees Tory with the gun. Meg didn't actually see Tory fire the weapon. No one else recalls hearing that dance bitch dance at all and Meg also could not recall other events from the night possible due to being intoxicated.

Unless you don't believe the witness, you still don't know which of the two shot Meg.

They didn't prove he was guilty beyond a reasonable doubt, but we all know that isn't how it really works. People will always have a built in bias. However, this is ultimately Tory's fault from the start and more so at the trail. Instead of caring about his image which was already hurt he should have directly said Kelsey shot Meg. He never should have apologized for anything as it was likely the main reason they believed he was guilty. Worse before the trail he assaults another artist proving he lacks control of his temper so any jury who was aware of this has this in mind. At best Tory was proven to be guilty of discharging a weapon recklessly.
