This is beautiful news. And I had two of the numbers.
I bought three tickets. One of the tickets I bought was one play to draws so it counts for today's draw and Monday's draw.

I'm going to buy two more tickets on Monday. I got a better chance at guessing everybody's name in this fucking thread so I'm not going to spend a grip load of money. But if I do win...

Real Talk family, if you are anywhere near Ohio, make the quick drive over and head back home. Buy 2 plays 3 draws ($12) that why you don't have to keep on going back

Being anonymous and being able to win the lottery in a trust will save your fucking life yo. Some states like Indiana if you win more than $500 your name and your face is everywhere, fuck all that bullshit

The following states allow you to win anonymously:
Delaware, Kansas, Maryland, North Dakota, Texas, Ohio and South Carolina.

I'm Ga where the lottery loves to fuck us over. The most I try to do is break up the purchases so the numbers numbers I pick are separate transactions instead of 10 draws on in one purchase.

I don't play that bullshit. At my job, we have a pool of people (about 10) that all pitch in 5 dollars. I played 1 time couple weeks ago to not seem like the oddball but I didn't after that. I have a coworker saying how stupid I am for not playing. The odds are too ridiculously remote for me to piss away, even 5 dollars.

Just like the saying goes, The lottery is a tax on poor and stupid people. :(

I participate in LOTTO pools at work if the lottery is huge.

It's one thing if they were asking you to drop a hundred, which maybe you really can't spare, but $5? .... to each his own :dunno:
sidebar: when they'd collect at the firehouse, I'd sometimes put in for three or four shares... $15-20

This is why I don’t regularly participate in the office pool because they charged a $20 a pop and I told them not unless the lottery is over 500 million.

At my old job back around 2015 or so, about 40 or 50 people had a lotto pool. Each person put up $10, twice a week. They did that shit for months and everyone kept saying that "when we win, you're going to be the only one still swiping in to work" and they would laugh when I didn't get in the pool. Even though they got 3 or 4 numbers (I can't remember) after months of playing and each person got a few hundred dollars, I STILL had the last laugh because they didn't even break even.

Just like others have said... lottery is a tax for poor and stupid people. :(

They hoping that the machines generate other store business.... they're barely compensated for having them there, even if they sell a winning ticket.... even a big ticket
Earn 5% on every ticket sold. Earn 1.25% payout (cashing commission) on all prizes up to $600.00
Lottery retailers (such as convenience stores/gas stations) make their money on the products purchased outside of lottery. Directly from lotto, a retailer can expect a commission which varies state from state. The percentage stays below 10% for the most part.

I can but imagine your view on the Casino industry and all the online betting sites

Never been one to play regularly... but I have had two cousins win.....One of them won pretty big (10 milly). So I play a few bucks here and there cause my net worth won't miss $150 - $200 a year.

This is why you play $2-$10

Bro, go to the store, buy 1-5 tickets. If you win, great. If you don't win, you just bought either a pop or lunch. No big loss

I will never spend more than 10 bucks ever again. I got a better chance at guessing everybody's first name in this thread.

I'll buy a ticket tonight and one tomorrow.

Ohio is the best place to buy a ticket since you can remain anonymous

"The chances of winning a Powerball jackpot are less than a millionth of a percent."

The odds are 1 in 292.2 million.
What does that look like in decimal format
