School Shooter St. Louis

Kinda wish they could have disabled and disarmed him rather than kill, so he could spend more time in pain for what he did.

I sometime think death is the easy way out. Let him be in prison for life with every inmate knowing what he did.

He thought he was going to be Adam Lanza, but he barely killed anyone.

But he killed. And got killed.

Could have just jerked to BGOL and lived to turn things around.

Same thing I was thinking

He had mental health issues and no criminal record, but you would think he had been arrested before. This was practically a mugshot.
In fairness, it was a his yearbook picture...a shitty, mugshot looking one. But yeah. I'm sure that's not the only pic of him.

"St. Louis police had also been informed that Harris, 19, recently failed a federal background check when he tried to buy a weapon from a local dealer.
So why didn’t police confiscate the AR-15 before Monday’s attack at Central Visual and Performing Arts and Collegiate School of Medicine and Bioscience, which left two people dead and seven others injured?......

.........
Federal law normally supersedes state law. But Missouri recently passed a law, now tied up in courts, called the Second Amendment Preservation Act, which claims state law supersedes federal law on issues of gun ownership.

For that reason, police say, they didn’t take Harris’ gun. They say they didn’t have the authority. "

This is a very slippery slope.....if states can say they supersede federal law in regards to anything, it opens the door for them to supersede feds in everything
