People are going to call themselves whatever they want. That's a culture shift that would take place regardless. Trump is the only President who wouldn't have given money to the Ukraine because of his ties to Russia. Anyone not Putin's bitch would have done the same. The GOP has only been pro Russia since Trump's time in office. So there would have been 4 years of no money going to Ukraine and 4 years of Trump doing everything in his power to use the government to make himself and his friends rich at the expense of this country and our security. Are you paying any attention at all to what is going on with him and the classified docs he stole and possibly sold?
If Trumps tax plan benefited you, you were not in the majority who posted about it. Since the benefits expire for the majority of Americans, anyone who did get a modest benefit will see it go away. If you are still paying lower taxes. You bare in the top 1-2% of earners.

For all the die hards, let's be clear. For almost 4 years, black men have been adamant regarding specific policies that benefit black people. Before the election, Biden and Kamala told black man Oshea Jackson that they would have a sit down to discuss the CWBA. And here we are, almost 4 years later, nothing.
Now with the election around the corner, instead of addressing black men's issues and concerns, the tactic is to threaten black men sexually. It doesn't matter that 82% of black men still vote exclusively Democrat making black men the second most loyal Democratic voting base behind black women. To them, that's not enough. So it's vote Democrat or no sex for straight or gay black men.
How can people see this and still be ok?

I didn't watch the video and have not commented regarding the video. My comment was in regard to a misquote of Biden's words.
My interests are varied. I don't have children, but I have several friends and family members that benefited from the child tax credit. It reduced child poverty and when you reduce poverty you reduce crime.
I support a living wage. I support affordable healthcare. I support paid family leave. I support workplace protections for women and affordable child care. I support affordable contraceptives and a woman's right to choose. I support quality public schools and affordable colleges. I support social security, medicare and medicaid. I support taking actions to combat climate change. I support diversity in our representation. I support voting rights. I support accountability in policing, fair policing. I support common sense gun laws. I support repairing our infrastructure. I want people to have a safety net should they need help between jobs. I want to have competent and knowledgeable people in charge of government agencies and not just someone who was appointed simply because they are a good friend and have no idea how to do the job. All these things the GOP will fight against, vote against and demonize dems over, but if it helps people they will try to take credit when the benefits start to flow.
Ohio and other states could have had high speed rail by now but it was blocked by republican governors. BGOL is full of folks who talk about what "devils" white folk are but want to allow a party of majority white men who use us as the boogeyman to scare up white votes and who don't give a damn about us take power and make laws affecting our lives.
I don't give a damn about pronouns, tho I will respect what people want to be called. Gay rights/gay marriage doesn't affect me personally. At my age, the roe decision doesn't really affect ME, but I had a niece who had an ectopic pregnancy last year/early this year and had she not been able to get care or was made to wait and bleed out or get infected instead of getting care, I'd be PISSED. I have a friend who has lupus and while I don't know what medication she is taking, I know that some patients could be affected to where they can't get their medication. I don't take insulin, but I have diabetics in my family on private insurance who would love to have the price capped, more dems in congress will let this happen. I saw someone earlier make fun of "vote or die", but for many voting can LITERALLY mean life vs death.
I don't expect to find too many posts complaining about the cost of war and all the money we've given to other countries under other presidents, and I don't care enough to look. None come to mind. Both dems and the GOP overspend when it comes to the military.
So yes, I vote my interests and what I consider to be the greater good. It's not all about me.
