That traffic is horrible in that D.C. area.

That's goodI'm used to it. I dont have to commute anymore so I can time when Im out there.
Born & raised in the Boogie Down Bronx
8 years now living in Raleigh, NC & I absolutely love it! Capitalized on getting a home before the market went crazy. 4 seasons no extremes, nice cultural variety, I can drive to NYC, DC, Atlanta & parts of Florida in under 8hrs
I dont have too many complaints about living in MD but DC Area has changed so much. It really isnt fun anymore. White people have sucked the soul out of everything.

Moving where Bro?Born and raised in the DMV, spent some time in Alaska, currently in Dallas getting that itch to move again despite from enjoying affordable entertainment.
I'm 5 mins away from the First Watch by Triangle Town Center and yeah the donut spot over there is fire. Only been to Flying Biscuit once. My favorite breakfast spot is Metro Diner. The croissant french toast is beyond delicious and their fried chicken is nicely seasoned. Whenever I go on Sundays, I make sure to get there as soon as they open to beat the church attendee rushRTP!! My second home....You ever been to Flying Biscuit and First Watch?? My favorite breakfast joints....LOL It's a donut spot near First Watch that is fire too! lol

Since my GF are going to 100% remote, we've been considering WV, Kansas because of land and weather patterns.Moving where Bro?
Yup.Never lied...LOL Shit is crazy....Taking 2.5 hours to travel 35 miles is insane....Don't miss that shit at all...
I always made sure to live close enough to my job or atleast near a metro to catch the train into the city...

Problem is access to a good airport.
Also considering Portugal and Barcelona.
Our projections have us debt free by the end of next year with two vehicles and a house paid off. Mostly thanks to you with your postings about Student Aid relief.
7-11 & WaWa are starting to find their ways into Raleigh. I need Carvel & White Castle to join in and make their way down here as well.
Wegman's is already hereIs Wegman's coming to Raleigh??

Me & the wife came back from Greece & Portugal a couple weeks ago. Portugal is probably my favorite European country I've visited so far.. The people were nice, its diverse & most importantly I didn't get an unwanted vibe as black folk.
I see why so many Americans are moving there. I put it on my list of places I would move to out of the states.
The only thing what a local told me is that it's starting get more expensive to live there. Since more Americans and people from other countries are moving there, rents/housing is getting high. I was in Lisbon and just like any popular city in the states, people are doing airbnb everywhere spiking up demand & rents.

Good stay your funky ass out of America.
This guy feels me! LolGrew up in the 757/Southside/Tidewater, VA Beach to be exact. Where you're most likely to be in the military, or working as a ship builder, or at a call center or retail (all good though).
Currently in the DMV/Alexandria. I hate the traffic but I work from home. Housing prices are wild. Theres always something to do in the city which I like though. However, I'm thinking of making a move down south. I just need to keep the DMV salary though.
Fuck you!

Damn. Carvel's not down there?7-11 & WaWa are starting to find their ways into Raleigh. I need Carvel & White Castle to join in and make their way down here as well.
Why do you think it’s not like that anymore?I’m ok with Atlanta although in the 90s it was like Wakanda.
I've only seen one and it was at a small Aunt Annie's in the mall. Half the time the damn machine isn't working either. I prefer soft ice cream too so I'm SOL unless I get some from Sonic. I'll take soft-serv from Carvel or Mr Softee any day over SonicDamn. Carvel's not down there?

In my opinion, I think there’s a number of things on why Atlanta has change for one theres gentrification and a change of personalities. You still have a ton of Black people in Atlanta but the personalities has changed a lot now you still have some assholes out there especially in the hood part of Atlanta that’s never going to change, but overall environment is different. Why do you think it’s not like that anymore?
i remember going to ATL from SC when I was young and that joint was always the lit city.
Do you think it’s a lack of multiple industries?
Agreed. Sonic is a piece of shit place for stupid ass teenagers who sip Mountain Dew all day.I've only seen one and it was at a small Aunt Annie's in the mall.
