Born and raised on the southside of Chicago. Love my city! The media hypes all of the bullshit but people here know where niggas tend to act goofy and we move accordingly. The women are amazing. I've visited a lot of dope places but none can touch the food here! (side note... NO ONE that lives here eats deep dish pizza. Only when we have visitors from out of town maybe. Thin crust all day!)

I keep hearing how many people are shot and killed in Chicago just on weekends but St Louis is number one for crime in the u.s and I don't hear anything about there at all.

I hate where I live currently, I am swarmed going into a store, with cars chasing me around by rednecks or black trash.

They try to bait me into some two bit conflict constantly to waste my time and get my attention. They always got some retarded scam or ploy involving me that put me to sleep. My presence is virtual, I am exploiting their cheap prices (due to the lack of demand) and want nothing else to do with them.

I am desperately trying to leave and is making me agitated, causing me to ramble on BGOL. Now that I finally have a car, this might be possible.

Vegas was cool, but it did get old quick. There was never traffic jams, food is fire, women are abundant and everything was cheap. I went to a lot of fights and big shows. I lived right on the other side of the freeway from the strip in The Martin. If I wasn’t worried about the water in a decade or so, I’d go back to Vegas. Several friends are in Summerlin. I prefer Lake Las Vegas, despite the drive.
 
Orlando. From Denver but I wanted to live somewhere warm year round. Weather is great for me and the culture here is good. Most people I've met are solid. Pay here is trash unless you have a solid and nice paying career. But it has improved my hustle by living here
 
Been in San Francisco for 8 years and I love it.

Good for brothers and sisters? I'm not the best person to answer those questions

Good for jobs? Absolutely! I found a job DJing at a gentleman's club just by walking down the street.

Low crime? You can walk the streets anywhere at any time without having to worry too much as long as you keep your eyes open.

Legal weed? Of course!

Fine women? Not really my type, but Oakland's right across the bridge.

Let me tell you a quick story about why I love this place. When I first got here I was flat broke looking on Craigslist for a job. The ad said "make money while saving the world from unfair parking tickets."

I get to the interview and find out it's a legal services company. They want me to follow meter maids and paper clip one of their flyers to every ticket they write. After you clip the ticket you take a picture and upload it to their Google drive server and they pay you $1 a piece.

The job was rough at first. Made $30 in 3 hours. Gradually over time I learned better methods to get the tickets and that pay went up to $100 in 6 hours. Then $150. Within a few months I was averaging just under $200 a day.

Normally I never would have applied for this kind of a job. However I had $2 in my pocket and had to go downtown anyway so I thought why not. It ended up being the job that established me here.

Been around a few places and I can't think of anywhere else where this kind of random weirdness can actually help you build a life. The city isn't perfect, but I got a million other stories just like this one.

Born and raised in Detroit, mi. I love my city. Moved to a suburb outside of Chicago 12 yrs. ago for work (thanks Kwame) I've hated it here. My wife doesn't want to move back though
 
Greensboro, NC.

mid sized city (300k). Lacks diversity. A college and medical town. Jobs are around, but very specialized types. Not for big city thinkers.

In the middle of the state with access to major highway. Traffic is rarely an issue. Most of the time resolved in 30 minutes.

I love it here. It’s home. I feel at home everywhere I go.

Weed is legal in delta-8 form.

You don’t come for the women or nightlife. Slow paced life style. Fast growing city.

The thing that gets me is other men doing the chasing, which is against man code. It is almost as like you are stepping to me homosexually.

If you sense some faggotry where you're at get the hell away as quick as you can dude cause if dudes around trying to come on to you that's a red flag to want to kick their asses and if you don't want no problems then once your lease is up get the fuck on.
 
Born and raised in the DMV, spent some time in Alaska, currently in Dallas getting that itch to move again despite from enjoying affordable entertainment.
