that deal where the visiting team has trouble executing plays in pressure situations is a trip (WR routes display as wavy lines, indicating that the visiting team will have trouble executing plays)..me and my nephew were both like "the fuck is this?" lol
otherwise seems like the same game to me

Article I read was saying it's definitely some bugs in the game, but can be rectified with patches, but the foundation is much better then previous years... I'm not a fan of the pressure situations, yet... I don't know what happened, but Brady started carving my defense up and their offense got a in-game boost while my team started to faulter...
Seeing Reggie White and Sapp maul Brady was a treat tho... My game will definitely need some work, I know I'm trash right now, I haven't played Madden since PS5 dropped - didn't feel it was worth it...
Overall tho, this edition, I fuck with it...

Them niggas need to fix that Franchise mode ASAP... I'm trying to figure out why Zach Wilson is wearing a red practice jersey, then realized the whole damn team wearing practice jerseys... No commentators, no visible clock, no field position awareness - hard as shit keeping a mental note of downs... I'm pretty sure I kicked a FG on 3rd down twice... A simple update to fix, but gah damn how do you put out a game like that - this is why they need to stop PS4 production so their teams can focus on one system only...

i'm having difficulty getting off passes consistently for some reason. i call plays and watch my wr's get open, press their icon, and the QB pump fakes/double clutches the ball (only supposed to happen when u double-tap). Shit is pissing me off bigtime. On another note, i trucked the hell outta the carolina FS when he tried to run-blitz. Washington's FB Armah str8 steamrolled his bitch ass lol.
A lot of bugs when Madden 1st comes out. That's why I wait a few months before I start a season.
Are you using the new controls? I'm still using the classic joints for now... I ain't gonna lie I threw the rock maybe 10 times vs about 20-25 runs... I've always been a terrible runner, so I'm focusing on that for now...
Yeah bruh I'm not going back to the franchise mode until they update it... For now just the exhibition and skills trainers... Sure it's nothing to brag about but I made it to level 19 of the gauntlet runA lot of bugs when Madden 1st comes out. That's why I wait a few months before I start a season.
what do you mean by new controls? those passing options that are presented in the beginning while tweaking the settings? (i chose the left-most option)
i got that running game down. just passing giving me issues.
Yeah those... I went to the far right, the classic option... Passing is already difficult as is, I just want to keep it simple for now... Last Madden I played was 2019, so pretty much it's all new to me...
ok thanks for tipping me off about that. Can i change it? I've only played 1 pre season game and ran thru some drills so far.
Sony had a lot of disappointing games last gen. Days Gone was bad, Cyberpunk 2077 was bad, they had the worse Metal Gear Solid game of the series. When you prefer reading Wikipedia articles over playing games, you know it's bad.

Yeah if I remember correctly, the guide mentioned it can be changed in the settings...
