Riiight like it really doesn't make sense. To go through all of that.
He could've said, "hey look I know you're from out of state/ town, but our laws are our laws. If you were in Mexico City you'd still have to abide by their laws.
It's just a citation, you sign it, pay a fine in 2 weeks and be on your way.. No points, nothing.....but if you don't sign, I have to arrest you."

Shit is just stupid, once she said she would sign it he needed to let her go. This is where cops need to be held accountable.
He already started using force. At that point he had to arrest her. You can't use force on people then pretend it didn't just happen. That opens you up to lawsuits and a bunch of other bullshit.

All right a couple of things.....
1. Crime in Atlanta has been off the chain.
2.There were 3 homicides in the last 6 days in Atlanta Parks that's why the patrols were beefed up and these two adult idiots instead of getting A FUCKING ROOM tried to get their freak on in a park after dark... You know, so they can get robbed or killed...
3. She's an aspiring actress that lives in Atlanta.
4. He told the brother you can not sign the ticket or go to jail... A simple citation, here's the thing.... if he would have showed up to court and told the judge hey I'm from out of town I didn't know about the curfew the judge would have thrown it out anyway....
5. She had attitude from the jump and he had to call her over twice.... Gave his name and badge number twice... each time telling her sign the ticket or go to jail..
6. And guess what kiddos ...the name and badge number is on the goddamn ticket anyway.....
7. She wanted to play games and not sign the ticket and then refuse to put her hands behind her back and resisted arrest.
8. Hollering and screaming and bringing Jesus into her bullshit.
9. You know I find it hilarious how all of that crying and screaming and theatrics stopped when she asked for her cell phone back..... because she was acting.
10. This was a clout chase.... And she put both of them in a dangerous situation.

Usually out of state license plates get fucked with by local cops but...
He didn't ask him where they were doing there ....if they were drinking if they were smoking ....where they were going... none of that shit..... he didn't even try to search they fucking car..... All she had to do was sign the goddamn ticket and leave.....

This is my understanding when a cop explained it to me. By not signing, you can claim later that you was not aware of the court date and subsequent arrest warrant. If it was a white supremacist cop, black women would gladly sign it, but since it was one of us, black women will challenge your authority/legitimacy. Black women are a nuisance to supervise on the job or work for, they are always plotting against you to gain favor with white supremacists. He did the right thing face planting her on the ground and should get an award. This is one of the rare times I would commend the actions of a police officer.

Watch the entire video. He was way more calm with her than given credit for. She’s an asshole and begged for that outcome. If a cop stopped me and fined me for my shoe being untied I would NOT argue it there. Take it. Go to court or pay it. There’s no points, the ticket is a few dollars. She did that to herself.
i actually think she was gonna sign the ticket, but not before she got the badge number the last time she asked for it. All the cop heard was no and he was irritated. But this was kind of like a chappelle skit when keeping it real goes wrong lol.
