Bradley Beal believes Washington Wizards can win NBA title after his max deal

"I want to win a championship and I want to do it here," Beal said Friday in a news conference to discuss his max-value contract. "I believe that we can win in D.C."
There hasn't been much evidence that the Wizards can back up that belief. Since drafting Beal in 2012 to play alongside point guard John Wall, the Wizards have made five playoff appearances, never advancing beyond the second round -- and the last time they got even that far was five years ago, the last full season Wall played in Washington.
Since then, the Wizards have had a revolving door at point guard alongside Beal, who averaged over 30 points in 2019-20 and 2020-21, and haven't persuaded a big-name free agent to join him in a star-driven league.
"We have the opportunity to show the NBA what happens, the commitment that we'll make to our players, to their career," general manager Tommy Sheppard said. "You're talking about one of the most coveted free agents on the market re-signing with the Washington Wizards, committing to what he believes, that we can win here."
This season, the Wizards will surround Beal with big man Kristaps Porzingis, acquired in a midseason trade with Dallas; Kyle Kuzma, who became the team's primary scorer with Beal sidelined by injury in the second half of last season; a new point guard in Monte Morris, acquired in a trade with Denver; and a collection of young role players including Rui Hachimura, Deni Avdija, Corey Kispert and Daniel Gafford.

Jabari doing everything right BUT make buckets.

That will come in time... still impressed with him and especially Eason.

Bradley a bigger fool than the fools that gave him 250.

He nor those idiots in the front office are serious about winning. Props to him for getting his bread tho.

@4 Dimensional

This is insane

Suns receive: Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving

Nets receive: Jae Crowder, Mikal Bridges, Cameron Johnson, Chris Paul, Lots of first-round picks

Chris Paul ain’t worth shit now lol he was talking like Phoenix was going to give him a long term deal. He’d do better on the Lakers.

I predict Kyrie and CP3 won’t make it the whole year healthy and KD is On the move again after 1 year.

He was supposed to be there long term. It was his team...thats why they conceded all that shit to him. Give him all the pieces he asked for and watch the chips roll in. So much for that.. Here's the question...are superstar players over valued when you consider that jordan as great as he was..only had success when he was surrounded by the right talent in the right system. Dude was dropping 50 pieces in a losing effort before phil Jackson and the triangle offense and pippin an' nem. And dropped 50 damn near 40 years old..in a losing effort with the magic. So his talent as great as it was didn't garentee trophies. And the same with kd and kyrie...so are superstar players over valued in the NBA?

Can't begrudge the guys for getting their money but your question remains. Are they overvalued? Possibly. Golden State is a perfect example of what max salaries can do to a team. After Curry, Klay and Dray it's damn hard to find middle money for deserving players. Klay is going to be traded next year because of the emergence of Poole. Ain't no way Golden State can afford to pay Poole when they didn't want to pay GP because of luxury taxes, etc.

I'm watching the WNBA ALSTAR game right now to see if the play has gotten better, they got a 4point spot out there. I was hoping Te'a Cooper was playing but I checked YouTube for some of her booty vids to post and the chick got cut because she was making to much money and the didn't want to pay her:oops::angry:

From a article
Everyone is scratching their heads after the LA Sparks announced it was waiving insanely popular (for obvious reasons) guard Te’a Cooper and reserve Arella Guirantes and second-round rookie Kianna Smith.

Lol I wonder what those obvious reasons were, said she was one of the most popular players in the WNBA and they cut her..smh

*thinking about finding me a new team*

A roster mostly of G-leaguers versus an actual NBA roster...

This is the type of shit I'm talking about...

Let's not forget Collin had a bunch of bitter veterans, who were losers because they wanted the organization to trade that first round pick to keep Lebron, even though he had one foot out the door. So,they decided to take their anger out on a rookie, who had nothing to do with the situation.

And,what's hilarious even the front office said,a few weeks ago that they missed Sexton's skillset all season because how good of a scorer he is.

Well, you know I'm a Sexton guy, but the market is backing the Cavs narrative on him. Shit is wild to me. Hope he comes back and stays healthy. Shit, hope the team can remain healthy.

since its trending

the correct answer is 3-1 down Bron

Nah. Needed a suspension and an injured starter to make that comeback. The best LeBron is clearly the Heat even though they lost to a game Dallas team. Had to face to real challenges in the San Antonio Spurs. While they split it he was really challenged. To get to that point he had to also beat the Celtics.

Did you check out her stats?

Nothing is special about her and she wasn't even a starter.
