Not sure why you're dumbfounded or think it's clear cut. I'm in Chicago and every time I read anything about the case it's always about what the victims said, what he said, what she said, etc. I'm not a fan of accusing, prosecuting or convicting men (especially Black men) without tangible evidence. Do I think he's guilty? Yes. Surely you see the difference between that and the process by which he was actually convicted. Think Bill Cosby. He did years in prison before the higher courts took a look at the PROCESS by which he was arrested, tried, convicted and sentenced and decided that sh** should have never been brought to trial. Meanwhile, bitch ass n***** was like it "has to be true" because so many women came forth. The process is always more important in my opinion. Peace

Not the only reason. By accepting payment for the act it falls under the category of prostitution. Why would she testify to committing a crime? Either way that's neither here nor there because he's not more important than the PROCESS. As a Black man would hope and pray that the burden of proof in a criminal trial, at a minimum, mirrors that of White men. Where the accused is literally innocent until proven guilty. I believe the man meets all the requirements for being labeled a pedophile. Aware of all that. The most unreliable piece of evidence in any criminal trial is eye witness testimony. You said forty plus people as if that substantiates the assertion. In this country over 300 men have been exonerated (released from prison) after DNA evidence showed they were not guilty of rape. How up from and personal is THAT crime? The natural impulse would be to believe the victim's testimony.

That's why I asked the question. BT said there were actual recordings of the crimes being committed. I was unaware of that which is why I asked the question. The things you noted, while you feel have merit should be considered as evidence and carry the appropriate amount of weight. Again, it's about the PROCESS for me and not getting a potential pedophile off the street. Peace
