There is a demand for abortions….somebody has to provide the supply.
And that’s where Organized Crime fills the void.
Organized Crime will easily setup Abortion Clinics similar to how they set up brothels, casinos, massage parlors, Meth labs.
They will have highly trained Medical Personnel working at these secret clinics. Mainly folks who got their Medical License revoked cuz of shady business or excessive malpractice charges.
Keeping them from getting busted will be no different than there other establishments paying off law enforcement and the DA office to look the other way.
And for abortion pills, morning after pills and birth control pills….not to difficult for Organized Crime to find there own “Walter White” who can make a better and affordable product than the Pharmaceutical Industry.
When SCOTUS put out their decision….all Organized Crime heard was the sound of “Ka-Ching”….the sound of money.

The child would be American even if it was conceived overseas since the parent is American. That issue is separate from abortion.

I do not agree with those who use religion as a means to defend anti-abortion. You can not place your religious views on others.
My stance is based upon scientific facts and basic biology.
Human development begins with the development of the embryo which is stage one, when a sperm fertilizes an oocyte and together they form a zygote. The ancient Egyptians and Mayans also understood this. A zygote is the scientific term for a fertilized egg. In plain English, at the moment of conception, when the egg is fertilized, a new human life is formed, complete with its own genetically unique DNA. The understanding of DNA and mitochondria would provide people more clarity and insight regarding why this is indeed a unique human being.
People mistakenly state that a zygote is just a "bunch of cells." Technically, a 12 year old boy is just a "bunch of cells." Human development becomes more complex overtime, but is still a human nonetheless.
Some will defer to viability. The understood definition is the ability to survive or live successfully. This too is problematic. There are babies born at 9 months that do not have the ability to survive or live successfully with assistance. There are adults that do not have the ability to survive or live successfully without assistance. Furthermore, in most cases the ability to survive or live successfully is 100% predicated by access to resources which in most cases is linked to wealth. Meaning, those with less wealth will have less viable children. How can we justify that?
As I stated I think both sides of the argument must concede some of their positions. No, all abortions should not be legal. However, common sense regarding exceptions must be applied regarding rape, incest, and health complications.

Can science answer if a zygote is human? Sure. Science will also tell you that human sperm, egg, and cancer cells are "human."
The question that you should be asking and that will never be answered by science is if a zygote is a person. I have my opinion on that but it's based on my own philosophy, mores, and knowledge as, I'm sure, yours is.
Your opinion is as equally valid as mine and everyone else's because there really is no way to truly answer the personhood question. Science cannot do it and religion most certainly can't.

You are talking about two Americans, the wife is pregnant, they are overseas, the husband is stationed in the military and she gives birth. Late Senator John McCain fell under that umbrella being his father was in the NAVY and he was born overseas.
If a US service man is stationed in Korea for example, knocks up a local Korean girl and she has that child in Korea, that child is not a American citizen under current law. The father has to go thru the process of getting the child American citizenship. Those children are called “War Babies”.
