The Old Man on FX/HULU is off to a great start. I found myself hanging on every word Jeff Bridges (Dan Chase),
John Lithgow (Harold Harper),and Joel Grey said not only because of their effortless presence and acting but also because of the interest in just what went down with the characters. Great character dynamics are being setup and extra tension and suspense is added due to what moves the characters are making. When I watch shows like this and look at the horrible things going on in the world I wish the FBI and the CIA were as extremely efficient as they are in these shows.
Hacks on HBOMAX is extremely funny. So many call backs to classic sitcoms and talk shows. Jean Smart and Hannah Einbinder are equally great and they play well together

I followed her career for a long time and she has always been that go to actress who has been a match for many well known leading man and it seems she can take on any role.@joneblaze
It was good to also see Amy Brenneman in the Old Man after watching her most recently in s3 of Goliath.
She reminds me at times of a slightly
older version of Courtney Cox with her look.

Dark Winds on AMC is entertaining and eye opening. Story threads about murder, oppression and pain are written all over the faces of the cast. Finely acted and involving the first 2 episodes are very good and im looking forward to what happens next.
watched all eps todayGonna check out a few episodes later today. Looks like the episodes have dropped on the streaming & download sites, if you're interested.

very good show... in someways they applied the E.R. formula to a family restaurant in southside Chicago
manGlad to hear it! Looking forward to checking it out! Interesting format with their running times, I noticed. Looked like eps 1 - 6 were around 30 mins. Ep 7 was only 20 mins, and finale was 47 mins.
